Dear Nelu,

Had Mrs. B not lost in 1977 we would have most probably been a developed country by now. She had the tenacity to use the most educated cabinet from 1970-75 including the quality left wingers and the SLFPers. Sadly in 1977 everything went down the hill and the country was sold to America and we are still roaming around to come out of that 17 years of nightmarish capitalism.

Mrs B was a rare individual who was awarded a PhD but she declined to use that unlike nowadays.

@Dr196903 Dear Vidhura, Even though an oppurtunity may have been lost, the present development activites has taken the country into the same level or more than what could have been..This also been only one year after the 30 year terrorism defeat. MR is a great leader who is taking the country on a fast track to development..
