Well I know on pretty much all of the live versions of him doin it he is shreddin it on the double bass. I've never listened to the ablum version but I'm pretty sure you just have a crazy twich in your ankle haha

I use Sony Vegas 9, and I highly recommend it! It's fairly straight forward to use and you can do some pretty cool stuff with it!
