@JJemo97 Nope, there's no apache in this game. I think you're looking for the 'Apache Longbow Assault', which uses the same engine as SAR: Coastal Heroes.

Did you managed to control the colective with the throttle of your X52, or do you use the slidebar? if so, how did you do it?

@opassac Yep, i had to fly with slidebar. If I wanted to switch it, i should replace the cables of collective on those with those for slider, but that was some years ago, when the joystick still was under the warranty. I didn't want to screw anything.

Good flying dude. I have to say I 'puckered' a couple of time watching your flight. I'm more of an f22 pilot, but I've always been fascinated with this Heli quality of flying dynamics and enjoy the game. I applaud your sense of flying the stick...it is the real thing...you don't have a gameboy pad up there flying. Good weaving skills. I would have hit a couple of those buildings. lol.

Erm ... Those rescue helicopters aren't for loops and barrel rolls ... They're just helicopters and they're flying like helicopters .... flying physics is pretty good ...

Oh man, that game looks so fun, although I'd probably have way too much trouble working with the realism...all those buttons and safeties to check. I remember playing the LOMAC demo and thinking "what the fuck am I doing?"

How did you get SAR4 to recognize your X52 throttle?  It doesn't see mine or something. Also, have you seen trackmapper? Doesn't work that well, but it emulates TrackIR

I didn't got SAR4 to recognize x52 throttle so i'm using precision slide instead of throttle. It took a long time to get familiarized to precision throttle and then training for flying with it. Now i've got DCS Black Shark and now I'm happy as a dog with two dicks :D

Russian Version si officialy out already. And i've ordered it from Vladimir's country. On my pc is Black Shark running very good on medium settings with 40-50 FPS on OC E6600 @ 3.0ghz, 4gb ram and GF 8800 GTS 320MB. English version shall be released somewhere around Q2 of year 2k9.

Love this game, but I can't get the throttle on my HOTAS to work with it. And TrackIR isn't supported either as far as I can tell. Grrrrr.
