So these guys can just pop up out of the ground and grab shit at will?! That would freak me out if I was diving and one of those things just popped out of the ground near me!
@DomoChan12345 you ignorant fucking fool. The diversity of life in the ocean is one of the things that makes it so amazing. Maybe we should just kill YOU because I think YOU are "friggin gross". Idiot.
@impavidus87 well excuuuse me for being an ignorant fucking fool. Many people have different opinions on things. I find this disgusting, you find this amazing and makes the ocean amazing. Fine with me! I just have a different opinion of it! So don't judge me for what I say!
@DomoChan12345 You're probably not going underwater with one of those things, and I don't think you expected to see happy unicorns in a video titled "feeding a bobbit worm". You can quite easily just go your separate way from bobbit worms without destroying what doesn't appease your eyes.
@DomoChan12345 You're the one that chose for you to be a marine biologist, not the bobbit worm. If you don't like underwater life I don't know why you chose to study them so closely. Not meant in an up-myself-sarcastic way, but did you think that all sealife would be beautiful shiny fish of a thousand colours or something?
thats an bobbit worm or eunice thats the largest polychaete in the world it live on live rocks or in reefs if you touch that you will go permanently numb forever
Given that it was 4 months ago since writing this I'm not 100% sure what it was now but I think it was one of them being found in one of the aquariums eating all the fish.
Actually, I have one in my reef tank, and it can definitely see. When I approach the side of the tank where part of its burrow is exposed and move quickly toward it, it backs up and retreats. It'll also stop moving if I wave my hand in its general direction.
pedo hide and go seak penis monster!, watch out kids...he'll grab ya!

@DomoChan12345 Killing it because it's ugly is a little harsh. You don't have to love it and kiss it goodnight, why not leave it be?

@dalekcaan1963reborn okay maybe it is harsh, but it is a bit......well gross....

Yes. The female of this species bites off the penis of the male after mating, and feeds it to their offspring.

let me guess they can only mate once? haha that thing is the grossest worm i have ever seen and fascinating!
