  • what size tires are on the ass end?

  • Camaro Rock !!!!

  • LS7? That's in the Corvette Z06 if I'm not mistaken, the 7.0 liter 510HP beast, amazing sounding engine too.

  • did you ever get that car fixed

  • the rims and tires look great on that

  • lovely build....

  • This is the best dyno run ever to me.

  • dAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN MY GOD...

  • Stock LS6 and 548 rwhp????????????

  • they should put an ls7 in the new camaros and call is a z28

  • is the Ls7 the best GM motor to go NA with? I heard it makes more horsepower than an Ls9 NA.

  • @frostbytey ls7 all motor buddy makin around 480ish at the wheels Ls9 is blown makin 600 ish at wheels id prefer ls7 bigger handles more and its cheaper when u add ur blower on it

  • @frostbytey have you taken this car to the track yet? If so what kind of 1/4 mile times have you gotten from it? And what size tires are you running? Thanks in advance Beautiful camaro.

  • @frostbytey Yes the Ls7 is a great motor to go N/A with an Ls9 N/A is just an Ls3.

  • did you get the sleeve replaced yet

  • nice... car looks great too... and I'm digging the user name!

  • is that the 15lbs flywheel? and is there a smaller lighter harmonic balancer on the car. is that how you get the rpm's tp drop so fast. I love it

  • does this car have an aftermarket muffler or somethin, because it dosent even sound like a camaro almost to me

  • LS7 corvette engine swap + some others mods.

  • No under hood shots or pics of the chart?

No actual proof it's got an LS7? And everyone flocks to you and says congrats. Wow...

  • Damn.. Very nice. Such a menacing sound from the LS7... 5 stars

  • Did you mini tub the car? If so, how big a project and cost was it?

  • wuts the difference between the ls1 and ls7?

  • @dodge2289 an ls1 is a 349 or a 5.7 and the ls7 is a 427 7.0 which is in the zo6

  • on nice man!

  • @sparkalanio yea the ls7 is a great engine 500 hundred horses i dont no why they didnt add this on the zr1 with turbos it would have destroyed the road it probaly be doin 0 to 60 in 3 seconds flat

  • The cylinder wall in the ls7 are way to thin to handle boost, so they decided to go with the lsa or ls3 with a super charger to make the big poneys. If the ls7 could take boost then it would be awsome, but its just not possable.

  • actly u can go with boost with a ls7 it just gm wanted to use the l92 heads with a blower set up

  • about 150 hp ls1 has 350hp ls7 has 505hp

  • LS1 is an aluminum 350, the LS7 is an aluminum 427 they are both badass

  • whats a cracked sleeve?

  • sleeves are what line the inside of the cylinders in the block. Cracked sleeve means that compression will leak in that cylinder.

  • that is prob the most awesome camaro ever. That sounds sooooo good, and u can beat anyone u want! lol

  • that might be the most badass thing ive seen in a while

  • Duude ... 1 Question .... is it an easy fit to replace LS1 Camaro with LS7 ????

Good Job .... Waiting for your track numbers bro !!

  • i just creamed my pants

  • hahah gawd dayummm

  • How Much For The Car, Name Any Price

  • i don't post often can you pm on ls1tech. my sn is airforcemanss. im building my car up for this. disspointing numbers unless its just a drop in ls7 w/ not much work. i love the car and build though GL w/ it.

  • smoke much?

  • excess fuel when throttle was closed

  • BEAST! How much for the swap?

  • SWEET

  • i love the color

  • Sorry, it looked like a beaner exhaust for a bit, my mistake.

  • nobody building an ls7 camaro would even think of doing something that stupid...

  • You can't see the exhaust, that is the clip in Wideband o2 sensor that was used to tune it,

    try again..

  • @extinct00ss lol FAIL.

  • @extinct00ss Do you still have your SS rims? I am looking for some for my z28. Which wheels are those? I love them.

  • that is what I plan to do on my Trans Am, replace the LS1 with an LS7

  • thos are sick tires bro wat kind and size are they?

  • Hi Thats an awesome camaro. I'm putting 17x11 torque thrust II on my camaro with a 285/40/17 tire will I have to do any adjusting?

    Russ

  • ...and i came

  • why the hell'd you run it with a cracked sleeve?

  • Didn't know at the time. The smoke at the end of the run was the first clue. I left the shop and within 10 miles the car was overheatng and had swapped the oil and water....

  • @extinct00ss Was it a crate motor, or did it come straight from a Corvette? How many miles were on it at that point? Thats rather strange to crack a sleeve. But they're quite thin, aren't they?

  • what size tired you got on the back. They looked a little wider than stock but not sure.

  • They are 315/35/17's

  • did you need a spacer or anything?

  • Nope. just an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear, and it was good to go. After I BFH'd the inner fender wells...

  • how much was the motor?last i checked it was 14k

  • Yeah, the crate motor is about that much, but mine is a little different. I have a little more in mine, but it is a little stronger also. They are beast's even stock though..

  • thats awesome man,i love all the ls motors.they are the best engines in my opinion.

  • jegs wants 13K for one!

  • I am working on the same project for my 2002 Firehawk My ?? for you is where did you mount the LS7 dry oil sump cannister, and will the SLP headers work on the LS7?

  • The headers will work. Any LS style headers will bolt right up. I would suggest investing in some larger primary headers though. I have 1 7/8 Kooks and they are a great piece. My engine is actually a wet sump system. I just bolted my ls1 oil pan up and had a hole drilled in the block for the dipstick.

  • Much thanks for the info it will definately come In hand. I will look at the Kooks Thanks again.

  • did the ls7 fit in alright? i'm thinking of swappin out my engine for the ls7 in my 97 SS in a few years and wanted to know if it'd need a front end extension or not. i know it's already a bit cramped in there stock and everything and i'm hoping to supercharge it xD

  • The ls7 is not physically any larger than any other small block. So yes it will fit fine.

    Good luck...

  • thanks. i'm hoping to get it done as soon as possible. REALLY nice camaro you got there though! i'm a bit jealous :P

  • fuck dude thats a 30k project. a new LS7 cost around 11k.

  • acutal 13k just sayin

  • a ls2 402 with a nice set of heads and a cam would put out similar numbers and be way cheaper then buying a crate ls7.

  • I think the LS7 heads and all the little 3rd party parts are what he's after.

Far superior to a mass produced LS2 or even a crated stroker.

  • Very true, however for a 402 to make the same rwhp, it would have a much larger cam and not be nearly as "docile" on the street. Don't get me wrong, this one sounds like it will eat your children, but it will pull 1300 rpm in 6th gear no problem, and it has a grand total of 20 minutes in the tune...

  • no doubt. if you can afford it then there is no replacement for displacement lol. bad ass car and in no way am i knocking your car, im just a poor college kid with big n/a hp dreams.

  • 531hp with 596torque

  • ummm, no. It pulled 548/486 with at least 2 dropped sleeves. Hould have new numbers within a few weeks with the new block..

  • wow thats a beast whts the hp and ft lbs of torque?

  • I bet i built a 383 stroker motor in my chevy truck and

I didn't even get done with it after putting 12k into it

  • thats a bad bitch. how much was the swap?

  • I have around $25K in it not including the car. That is everything else though, labor included. And the bills get higher every day...
