:P I love Olimar the most out of all of the characters in Brawl. The real trick to using him is to use every moment in the fight to your advantage, eh? If the fight is too hot and its difficult to replenish your pikmin supply, you gotta use all of his non-pikmin moves. Sounds stupid and obvious, but learning how to use Nolimar is just as important as everything else about him. Keeping pikmin flying at the enemy to keep the damage going is what he's all about.
Nice job on the expose... I play a lot with Olimar and Sonic... Most of what you showed I already knew, and you did a good work on the explaning... XD

They should've added much more characters... like leon, panther, krystal from starfox, louie from pikmin, and a Deku AND Zora AND Goron Link that you can switch (like pokemon trainer does)

Im an olimar user and the thing about olimar is most of my friends are thrown off by how unalarming his pikimin r they always say they cant even tell what's hitting them and the up b move is a great way to get the final smash ball and juggle ur opponents and its great for attacking through the floor
reds have the highest attack power of the latching pikmin (reds are also immune to fire attacks). yellows throw with a slight arc so there's a little more height to the throw (yellows are immune to electricity). (also, I might as well add that blue pikmin are immune to water attacks.)

He wastes quite a lot of time trying to do things he says. we just want to see the moves. he can try to do those stradegy things on his own without people wanting to learn.

It's much more interesting to wath a slightly unstructured presentation with on-the-fly commentary than a strictly straightforward, vanilla demo in which each of the character's moves is performed in a predetermined order.
Seeing this guy play gives a sense of what it's like to actually use Sonic.
For the secret characters like Lucario if u go on SSBBDojo they show how to unlock them. with the 1-3 conditions, do u do all of them or just one task?
I also see that the pikmins' heads grow from leaf to bud to flower the longer they're out like in the original games. I wonder if that changes how much damage they do...

Although he only has about 6 moves to himself.(Dash A)Olimar does sort of a tripping cartwheel.(Neutral A)Olimar slaps twice.(Forward Tilt)Olimar kicks both legs forward, falling to the ground.(Down Tilt)Olimar does a headbutt along the ground.(Up Tilt)Olimar jumps a little, hitting with his head, and(Neutral Aerial)Olimar spins in place, hitting multiple times. Olimar: Sucky for n00bs, one of the best characters for those experienced with him. One could call him "the new jigglypuff" based on that fact. Best FS in the game, it's undodgeable and hurts everyone. also does good damage.
Sonic: "the new kirby" (easy to learn, sucky in the end) The three beginner characters that everyone will immediately pick up are snake, meta knight, or sonic. Sonic will seem good at first, but i think he will suck in the end. His FS is extremely difficult to control
I am by no fan a huge Sonic fan, but I am going to contest this because his ability to follow people in the air is going to be pretty beastly. How you can still use A moves after Up B. thats pretty good. I think he will be atleast middle tier, not a sucky... Olimar I know is going to pwn though, i agree
I agree with olimar but disagree with sonic. At first I would have agreed but because of his Up B and his incredible running into an Up Smash abilities it looks like he's going to be pretty good.
I've watched all of your videos and love them, especially the Snake\Marth\Ike one. I think you should make more vids but base them on some of the other features in the game, like subspace emissary or stage creator.
if ur recovering and the opponent is hanging onto the edge so u cant get on, use whistle til purple gets to front and throw it at opponent. then use pikmin chain. but dont use this technique if u dont HAVE to use your pikmin chain to recover.
How come you really didn't show much of Sonic except his B moves? And a couple combos.. But I was interested in seeing all of Sonic, Throws, all his aerials, etc... I also didn't watch Olimar, not really into him, and Im not sure if you did the same thing for him or not, but still...

usually a simple attack or a sheild knocks a pikimin off, but if you stand around your damage gets pretty high.

Although he only has about 6 moves to himself.(Dash A)Olimar does sort of a tripping cartwheel.(Neutral A)Olimar slaps twice.(Forward Tilt)Olimar kicks both legs forward, falling to the ground.(Down Tilt)Olimar does a headbutt along the ground.(Up Tilt)Olimar jumps a little, hitting with his head, and(Neutral Aerial)Olimar spins in place, hitting multiple times. Without Pikmin your a dead man. You can't grab without them! Even with 6 moves to himself, I think Olimar ROCKS!

Olimar: Sucky for n00bs, one of the best characters for those experienced with him. One could call him "the new jigglypuff" based on that fact. Best FS in the game, it's undodgeable and hurts everyone. also does good damage.
Sonic: "the new kirby" (easy to learn, sucky in the end) The three beginner characters that everyone will immediately pick up are snake, meta knight, or sonic. Sonic will seem good at first, but i think he will suck in the end. His FS is extremely difficult to control

I am by no fan a huge Sonic fan, but I am going to contest this because his ability to follow people in the air is going to be pretty beastly. How you can still use A moves after Up B. thats pretty good. I think he will be atleast middle tier, not a sucky... Olimar I know is going to pwn though, i agree

I agree with olimar but disagree with sonic. At first I would have agreed but because of his Up B and his incredible running into an Up Smash abilities it looks like he's going to be pretty good.

I've watched all of your videos and love them, especially the Snake\Marth\Ike one. I think you should make more vids but base them on some of the other features in the game, like subspace emissary or stage creator.

HEY .
if ur recovering and the opponent is hanging onto the edge so u cant get on, use whistle til purple gets to front and throw it at opponent. then use pikmin chain. but dont use this technique if u dont HAVE to use your pikmin chain to recover.

How come you really didn't show much of Sonic except his B moves? And a couple combos.. But I was interested in seeing all of Sonic, Throws, all his aerials, etc... I also didn't watch Olimar, not really into him, and Im not sure if you did the same thing for him or not, but still...

Olimar's whistle has Super Armor Frames. And you can spam it.
Also, I think spamming the pikmin throw would be more effective than looking for which one you have.

The guy making this video was probably like "Sonic? Who's that?" when Sonic was announced. In this video, the guy says "his down-B is this....circle thingy" ANY person who knows about sonic knows that 1:he is really fast and 2:his main move is called the "Spin dash"
