  • FAUX PAS (“Los tres golpes”). Traduce “Sin falsedad”.

  • @Acadianiste

    Let them to do couz they going with their time so you only watch and lessen music.

  • @Acadianiste its called evolution dumb ass! Maybe you should not cut your nails too becos they came natural; or your hair; or even bathe! Mbilia Bel ya likolo!!!!!

  • @Acadianiste true...unfortunately, she has done just that namely bleaching her skin. just check out her clips like NAZA, SENDA and u will as well be disappointed in her

  • @Acadianiste loooooooooooooooooooooooool !!! for real have you seen her now she just looks bleached out she doesnt have that natural beauty like she did

  • @Acadianiste your comment make sense but i gave you a thumb down because we are listen to a beautiful music not talking about skin. plus don't judge black women. some women yes do it which is wrong so white people get fake tan to be dark.

  • Mbilia ici toute jeune, belle et toujours belle. Merici pour avoir accompagne ma jeunesse avec ta belle voix.

    Merci tabu ley pour avoir decouvert mbilia bel de son vrai nom MBOYO

  • Now what else can I tell you? The man is mine. Who are you to claim my man?

    This is crasy. This is embarrassing! oh no; not me Mbilia

    *Special Thanks to Malala1974

  • Rivalry is very painful, heartbreaking. Youre coming from I dont know where and you want to kate my man away from me; I would lose my mind and I will do anything to prove you otherwise.

    A rival is only a rival. What friendship should we have? What you dont want done to you, dont do it to another. It hurt, its heart breaking.

  • The type of marriage we get ourself into has many faces. You wake up in the morning and you are being confroted with infidelity; You feel like going crasy, Not knowing what else to do, Oh no, not me Mbilia;

    In our time poligamy is taken lightly; In the time past it was dignified. Where is all of this leading us to? and to where are we taking this? oh no, not me Mbilia

  • You should know that the man is mine; You and your friend are temporary.

    Im not strong enough to fight, but with my words I can piece you off.

    What can I say now, who is that one making a big mounth claiming my man?

    Oh no, I cant believe it, this is embarrassing, oh no, not to me Mbilia;

  • YRICS: Faux pas means Wrong move or Wrong act

    A song of Tabu Ley Rochereau, sang by the queen Mbilia Bel:

  • Thank u v much ma bro enen if i dnt know u i have been lookin for the meanin of this song since 1984. I love congo music so and mbilia is in ma heart. Memories of those days w never forget;

  • Tabu Ley should have not left this woman. Or may be it was in their best interest to part. Sure Bel is beautiful and is successful. May be he was jealous her voice was better than his.

  • @pmbalele That is what always think about this couple they are exceptionel in africa and i dnt think if w can ever this kind of artistic complicity. When i heard about their separation i felt like som part of me has lived so sad and i know that i will never see them together singing as in thaose happy days. I love them and i love DRC

  • mi piacce troppo

  • J'adore cette chanson

  • Great

  • welcome back!

    your telling of Kishila Ngoyi (faya tess) and marie claire (mbilia bell story) is very interestingand I would like to know more pls. how did everything stated in the first place.

  • Nice to hear from you again, Its just that when you guys are active up there we are sleeping down here... Call it globolization.

    For one to understand Marie Claires story, you have know the character Tabu Ley. He is famed to be a great musician. what people dont know about him is that he is as egoistic and self centred as one can be. I could tell this when I was five. When they visited my parents and he talked, everybody had to listen.

  • He had a way of going after what he wanted in a manner which could be regarded as highly annoying and he kept ranting and chanting with all qualities of a mad mullah. I think deep inside there was a pastor or a frustrated politician in him. You know actually one day he went too far and Mobutu decided Zaire was too small for both of them. People call it exile but for Tabu Ley it was like run for your dear life.

  • Anyway Tabu Ley met Mbilia in one of the most common but unbelievable manner, One day he sees her perfoming for a guy in telly and with his arrogance sends for her, and steals her. So simple, that was him.

    this is a habit he had perfected since his boyhood. He had stolen Dr Nico from ´Le Grande´, manipulated Dino Vangu... what was a back ground singer? But like all manipulators he was very shortsighted. The background singer crawled from the back, became Afrisa Int´ and stole the show,

  • Im sorry if i sound irrational about Tabu Ley but as boy i found it very hard to like him, later when i came to undertand something about peoples characters, he was not the best example. Parents friends play a big role in influencing a child, sometimes you hear your mother make a comment about a person and it sticks. There were other people around my father , like Sam Mangwana,Dino, Bopol... They were okay. Tabu ley was just different.

  • TheCasejordan, i 'm learning a lot from you. please come back

  • Hi,

    Im back. Had to fly to Cologne yesterday for a football game, lost. How can I help you?

  • BA DIABOLOSSSSSSEecoutéééééé cettte chansons C POUR VOUSSSSSSS MERCIIIIIII

  • beuatifull rytmic ... wundershön

  • what is she talking about?

  • Hi/She's telling her rival to lay off her man -- in other words, don't commit a 'faux pas' (stealing another woman's guy.)/Cheers

  • Thank you very much for the xplaination. When i was about 14 in the late 80's me & my elder sister listens alot to M'bilia Bel, Nayanka Bel, Tabu Ley, Pierre/Michealle Moutouari, Tshala Muana, Salif Kieta etc. These are all legends now in African music. I continue to listen to them. Thanks again

  • she had a friend who in really was the spy of her rival:::: it's something like this

  • Evidently the friend succeeded.... Mbilia was the best of the best, but of late her figure, general looks and music have gone to toilet. Sorry but when I remember how she inspired me with her golden voice and innocent looks, I just wanT to cry. How could things go this wrong??

  • I know what you mean.

    It's bad for me to say, but I am very unhappy when I see black women bleaching themselves - if that is what you are refering to. I mean, white woman are paying to go to than salons to get darker, and colored woman are paying to get rid of the color? it is the world upside down!

    what an artist/singer she was!

  • I think basically we human beings have a very bad weakness of forgeting that people love us for what we are, and not what we try to be, We move the world trying to change ourselves, but all everybody wants is our original simple self. That is why we find home and our old friends always the best. I happened to know her when I was a kid through my mother.... Great woman really, with a golden heart. I sometimes think bad things happen to the good people. I dont want to criticize her anymore.

  • Very well said!

  • Comment removed

  • Actually the friend´s name was Kishila Ngoyi ( her real name), but she was known by her artistic name, Faya Tess. Now, Faya Tess was really Tess, but without fire ( I mean Faya): She could not sing but she could fuck. And fuck Tabu Ley she did. You can imagine how Marie Claire...( Mbilia) affected, She had Tabu Ley´s baby and she was the driving force behind Afrisa Int. She was totally divastated....

    I could tell you more about it but its 4 am in Germany now.

    Got to sleep.
