Marshall and Phillips compliment the songs very well with their drums and bass

it's not like i hated it. i do think it's a very good and emotional solo, has a lot of feeling, but it has those "pointless shredding" parts, where i think they simply don't fit. maybe they would in a heavier song, and it certainly has it's melodic and great moments, like those bendings, the bar tricks and harmonics, but the fast parts i really don't like. another example of that is open your eyes, where it has shining moments but also some parts that don't fit, that won't be remembered
