Ya they did, it's in the neon bone yard with every thing els from throm the 80's, 70's and even the 60's. everything is huge i've been there

The original round roadside sign was scrapped in the 60's, and the Jetsonian letters from the new one lay in the boneyard with the new helvetica letters and the pieces of the sign.

At least they are not blowing it up with TNT like they did to the Dunes sign. With is upsetting the Dunes sign was awesome.

apparently they frontier sign is going to meet the same fate as the dunes, going to go down there today and take some pics of it.

If you search the frontier sign on youtube, a 28 second video comes up showing it today. One of the comments on it, from a local, I gather, says they plan on keeping it and using it somehow. Have you read something that has changed that?
