No, it is not "misleading". What the Supreme Court did was in effect make it so that parents could decide what education their kids are allowed to have, without regard for the kids themself. Now some higher order do allow high school, but the one I was a part of, the Swartzentrubers, they do not allow high school, which does nothing but limit their future. The puplic schools I went to weren't that great either. 40% of the students couldn't pass a minimum basic skills test. So that means the schools are full of students but only 60% of them are being taught. We spend a fortune on education but still have schools closing and being taken over by the state because kids aren't learning. For those who are going to failing schools I am grateful to the supreme court for giving us the option to homeschool.
