Lam Akol is the Savior of the people of southern sudan because SPLA was killing Southerners who were fighting for the indipendence south as well as southerners being used by the north. can you see any vision here in the SPLA for the south? I would say no. that is why when Dr. Lam say the SPLM's lost direction he means it. Dr. Lam Akol's stance on the issue of southern sudan is that the CPA is implemented and that the people of southern sudan get their right to exercise of selfdetermination.

Many things have been said already about Dr. Lam and the formation of the SPLM-DC. Some think that the SPLM-DC is a breakaway faction and it has been masterminded by Dr. Lam with the support of the NCP. Many moreover, accusse Dr. Lam of betraying the cuase of Southerners who have longed for and are still in search for a separate nation because of oppression from the Northerners since Sudan attained its independence from the British in 1956.

Such desirable change must come and be realised urgently and earnestly without any single instance of fear or regret because it is a change for preservation of human dignity and prosperity. It is a right change and better difference that we can make and that we must pursue with highest human pride.
