It is not I am Love epic, but its certainly more like The Road Back like for sure. The acting is good, and storyline moving. The music is magnificent, the comedy charming, and the personally dramatic scenes very moving too. it builts up to the grand finale, it is about overcoming adversity as a group & as individuals. Laurent & Cuskov are the more powerful characters in the film, the rest of the cast does a good job too. It is not for everyone, specially featuring a sad Soviet Era back story.

Saw this movie last nite, just GREAT! Has everything, Comedy, farce, old Russians, new Russians, old wanting to be new again, If you watch this English trailer and then go its better as you at least know the plot lets say. If you don't bawl up the last 5 minutes you're some kind of alien. Don't want to know you. I loved it.
