I like how the "sensitive" and "open-minded" liberals have such spiteful, hateful, and nasty things to say about Palin - attacks on a personal level and taunts worthy of a 6th grade bully.

You're right. I do not agree with her policies or stands on the issues. Furthermore, she displays a level of ignorance that disqualifies her to be the governor of Alaska or hold an elected office in any city, county, state or country. She does not appear to be stupid but rather of average intelligence. She is neither pretty nor ugly, but too 'cutesy' to be taken seriously. And she obviously does not belong on a presidential ticket. Fortunately, she soon will be a footnote in history books.

But it truly is stupid. Politics change peoples' lives and decide on huge issues in our society. We need to be open minded and try to understand each others' viewpoints and find the best solution, rather than enter situations with the set idea that the "other" is automatically wrong or not worth listening to.
