  • i have a good file for you to read. that should be producing 10-15 times more hydrogen.

  • good production :-)

  • dry it out and pressure(about 10-20 psi) test it under water. it appears to me that your production is there ,just not making it to the end of your hose...try using Heavy Duty Crystal Drain Opener Sodium Hydroxide - NaOH * Contains 100% Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda) * Also know as Lye, Caustic * Crystal form * Dissolves Aluminum into Hydrogen gas * Seems to produce more HHO than Baking Soda * runs cleaner in your cell,no brown crap floting

you can get it at lowes

  • For the effort ,I say,you deserve A in trying ,just learn more, about the voltage across the plates, and as well! You may need to check all seals! It realty don't take much at all Hydrogen can go through glass! Good job Keep it up!

  • Hey Chris! Are ya using steel plates with low magnetism rating? Also, distilled water usually works best. If you have no corrosive plates, you can add salt to create more conductivity within the cell.

  • Never use salt! Salt puts out poisonous chlorine gas with your hydrogen and oxygen.

  • This is a very respectable cell.

I think one primary key to getting this to produce a lot more gas will setting the voltage drop across each gap between plates.

The second key is to look for ways to prevent the current leakage from skipping over the neutral plates jumping directly to/from the primary feeder plates.

Work for the smallest gap voltages that will still generate a lot of gas. 2.18VDC is a good starting point.

Consider sealing the sides of the cell to prevent current leakage.

  • That an impressive build kinda like the bob boyce design.Whats your volts and amps?

Scarecrow is right the D9.pdf would be right up your alley

  • You`re using i cell to producing high volume HHO,you will boiling the water....just like

SmartScarecrow say you need to know fundamentals, but never try never know, nice video.

  • I have some understanding of how much work you got into that gizmo ... I see hundreds of hours of work there if you hand crafted it ... my compliments to you on your fabrication skills ...

BUT, you have missed some fundamentals. You need to go back to school and study up a bit. Google key words "D9.pdf" and "Bob Boyce" to get the first phase in your education. Once you understand that part of the puzzle, you can PM with specific questions.

nice setup ... good foundation to build on !!!

  • What did I leave out?

  • you have made a fundamental design flaw in the way you are managing, or failing to manage voltage ... its explained in excellent detail in the D9.PDF document ... much better than I could even if I was not limited to 500 characters ... but you really do need to study it ... your work is salvagable, but you need a plan ... to make the plan, you need a better understanding of the fundamentals ... Google "D9.PDF Bob Boyce" ... its a great read with clear diagrams ... you will thank me later ...

  • 12 to 14volts works fine!!! My first power supply was a 14.4 volt 1amp drill battery! With 13 plates it wold make about 2 letters pm.

  • If you put in about 25amps into your cell you should get between 3 to 8 letters pm. Nice work!! i am converting a alternator to a permanent magnet alternator to power mine!! it is kind of simple:-)!! great work!!!!!

  • is there a specific voltage range that works best?

  • Using 2.3-2.8 volts per plate gap will sufficiently supply enough voltage drop across your cell. This will give optimum efficiency for use of power supply (13.8 volts). The way you do this is to use neutral plates. Wire internally +nnnnn-nnnnn+nnnnn- etc. Hope this helps. Good job. And use either KOH (potassium hydroxide) or NAOH (sodium hydroxide) for electrolyte Never salt or baking soda.
