@darthmaul7277 Notice though that he doesn't get into much of the "nerdy" aspects of Star Wars, like the Force or starships or anything other than combat. \In that way, he treats his fame as Darth Maul just as he would his fame as a martial artist, and uses it to educate fans. And if he didn't like being famous for Darth Maul, he could easily not show up at any convention. The fact that he goes to a lot of them and spends time with fans refutes your theory completely.

Ray is just such a cool guy. He is the type you could meet anywhere and approach him and he would sit down and talk with you for hours, regardless of his schedule.

He is, and always will be for the people who think about the new trilogy as a completion of the series and not as a piece of crap.

He made all the fighting forms, and he is the one responsible for the near (I hope) future of the Jedi fighting styles as a sport!

Im somewhat conflicted about that topic. Of course the original 3 will always be the best, but the recent films did provide a look into the past we all always wondered about, which was (for some aspects) amazing. That said, they were a colossal disaster besides Ep3, in my opinion. Though, even Ep3 did have its draw backs, it was actually a good film I thought.

But I digress. The Phantom Menus (Darth Maul = best thing about Ep1) introduced me to him, but I love Ray for all his work. ^^

I don't know why they killed him off right away, he was a very cool and unique character because of mainly his double-bladed saber and his skills with it. Plus, I would of liked to see him live on in another movie or two. (Like Count Dooku)

Thanks for posting this! I passed it onto my cast (cast of Balance of Power, Into The Lion's Den) so they knew that they were learning things that the professionals do.

If you want to see Balance of Power--have a look at my youtube ID, or search for it... it's here! The production was a 100% *LIVE* lightsaber battle, using a professional staged combat system.

Ray Park is very awesome... I'm STILL trying to learn that butterfly twist that he does in Episode I, TPM... :)
