Well no contemporary historical sources survived from the time of Nero.But i do agree the character in this documentary is a very unrealistic impression of him.Maybe he was a little off the track but not like that.
@caiomalpelo Wouldn't call Nero a genius,exactly....but Caligula wasn't so insane as everyone thinks

everyone think that Nero was mad because we know his life trought the eyes of his enemies in the senatus: it was not a impartial vision.
