I live in a big city.(Budapest) Bigger, than Bratislava.(Pozsony). I was many times in Slovakia, for example Bratislava, Kosice(Kassa), Komarno(Komárom). Many Slovak tourists come Hungary too.We deal with them in that manner when they are at us, than if they would be at home.This proves that we like the Slovaks.But I did not feel the same one when I go into Bratislava.
:) Bratislava has the same problem with services to tourists as the rest of Slovakia. Our tourism is undeveloped and I mean mainly the approach to tourists, so it doesn´t play a role if you are Magyar or not. Slovakia has huge potential in tourism to be one of the most visited country, but it needs time.. Anyway Szivesen!

I'm from Seattle in the US, and though it's true the politicians are screwed up and the ignorant members of society are not worth your while, there are plenty of good people. It's hard to judge a country with 300 million people from so many different cultures, beliefs, etc. Americans aren't really one group. I am personally studying Slovakian for my senior culmunation project and most people I known care a lot about other nations.
But if you WERE to visit, I recommend New York or Seattle. California not so much. The east coast is more international but the west coast is more easy-going. There is a big Slovakian community in western Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. They have a big festival every year.

I live in a big city.(Budapest) Bigger, than Bratislava.(Pozsony). I was many times in Slovakia, for example Bratislava, Kosice(Kassa), Komarno(Komárom). Many Slovak tourists come Hungary too.We deal with them in that manner when they are at us, than if they would be at home.This proves that we like the Slovaks.But I did not feel the same one when I go into Bratislava.

Our tourism is undeveloped and I mean mainly the approach to tourists, so it doesn´t play a role if you are Magyar or not. I'm from Seattle in the US, and though it's true the politicians are screwed up and the ignorant members of society are not worth your while, there are plenty of good people. It's hard to judge a country with 300 million people from so many different cultures, beliefs, etc. Americans aren't really one group. I am personally studying Slovakian for my senior culmunation project and most people I known care a lot about other nations.
