@ColoniaContraAtaca it's used to transform the alpha value of the burred cores into luminance value, to make it possible to add color

I was watching your videos, one effect which interested me was the 'electric ball charge' at 0.19 in "visual effects (Adobe after effects CS4)" and another video where you swallow the ball. is that a simple effect?
