"Filthy" is the right word for the girl. Ninety years later, people still play Django's music. He truly gave something to world. As for poor little Britney...
Weren't they a wonderful band?! I am truly sorry I didn't ask their name or buy their CD, although my wife put coins in their hat. They came and sat near us in the café they were serenading, and just as I was about to say 'Hi, love your work', a laden waiter tripped over a guitar case and showered them all in hot espresso... not the moment for bonding.
In any case thank you for taking the trouble to comment. I'll keep an eye on your page here at Youtube for the videos you make, and learn better skills by studying your superior technique. You must be brilliant... How I envy you. Please let me know when the next video you shoot and edit is put up here.
Thank you. I think you have missed the point of this clip. The whole thing was captured accidentally. How could I know the bass-player's bridge was going to collapse? It was an accident! How could you get set up for this?
Thank you so much for your constructive and useful feedback. Was there any particular sequence which evoked your response? Did the entire work fail aesthetically? Is it the merely narrative structure, or only the cinematography, just the editing? Was it the lighting, continuity, music? Titling? Distribution strategy? Please share your expertise so that I can improve my skills. Hoping to hear from you soon. SDG, CEO, ClipontheEar.
u wanna real opinion? that small window with a scene in it is crap. when u were taking position to shoot them, u should stand closer and u wouldn't have any problems with passengers. It's when u used fade out and alpha, and u should have faded it out totally, because the effect with peoples legs in screen sucks... nice zooming, but when his bridge collapsed i bet he was embaressed when he saw u filming ONLY him.
and when the end of the song came... u should take them in full screen... theme is boring and u should have worked it better... and the description doesn't give enough information... u satisfied?
I couldn't stand any closer without getting in the way of passers by, and I would be right in the face of the band, and couldn't get a full-shot of them. I edited in cross-fades for when the people got in the way, and intercut footage of my wife and I dancing under the bridge - it was a joke, get it? I think it is pretty good for holiday footage captured on the fly with a tiny camcorder!
I thought it was VERY good for holiday footage. Pretty funny, too, sinc I was actually looking at vids about actual bridge collapses when I happened upon it. Certainly in my case, the joke was very amusing and well taken. Good job!
When giving a critique of a filmmaker's editing capabilities or flaws as you see them, it helps to use proper spelling and grammar, lest you portray yourself as nothing but an arrogant troll.
HAHA! Indeed! Excellent performances by all. Meanwhile, Britney Spears gets filthy rich.

Oooooookay....I didn't see any bridge plunge into the drink.
The only "bridge" that did "collapse", would part of the stand-up bass, (after a string broke), during the quartet's acoustic jazz performance.
(And yes, the part of the bass that "raises" the strings into place near the main body of the instrument, is called a bridge)
Great jazz number, by the way. :)
I should've brought my percussion with me. ;)

Now that's what I call a critique. God bless you sir, and may all your bridge collapse researches be fruitful.

The word "you" has three letters, not one.

Why wasn't Annette dancing around the collapsed bridge?
Lovely music. Proves a point about the importance of drummers and bass players.
