I agree with your reasons, although God may have been for Capital Punishment in the Bible, God is the only one who should relinquish a life from earth, No one should do harm to another, A Judge is not God a Judge job is to impose consequences to make the offender accountable for his behavior. Sentence then is turned over to Dept. of Corrections to impose treatment to punish and learn not to repeat the offense, and monitor behavior worthy of community replacement. In this case w/o parole.
