  • Why does a robotics company that produces robots for manufacturing use human labour...

  • @sonneouest At 2:39 the logo 'Lab Volt' is seen on the arm. A quick look at their website finds their 5150 Robot System, which looks a lot like this one. Hope this helps.

  • 30 hours to assemble one arm??? You have to be kidding! Even at $20 per hour that's $600 just for labour, since it appeared to be completely hand assembled. If it was a halfway useful device it would be used in the manufacturing process, so it's obviously a waaay overpriced toy.

  • i say that thay can call in dead battery lol!

  • nice video,it helps to understand subsystems of a robot clearly

  • i demand coffee breaks for bots, so there would be equality!

  • i want to know where you can buy one of those.

  • We have one of those in my automation class!!!

  • hello

can you tell me the brand please.

    Thank you

  • @sonneouest well i don't remember cause i passed the class 2 semesters ago. But if you really want to know i could find out and come back to you in a few days when the new semester starts.

  • Machines make machines but humans cant make humans! LOL :D

  • @dbp822 thats what whe call sex XD

  • @tomattosfutleimierda oh yeah LOL!

  • weighs 10 pounds, about the weight of a cat

  • lol cé ti claude qui fabrique dans l'ancien secteur 15 :)

  • i mae my one by watching this vid it looks te seen

  • That's a really light-duty robot. Obviously not meant for manufacturing...

  • Cojonudo!

  • But they do break down and have programming bugs

  • he put his end effector up my skirt!!!

  • The factory manager is a total n00b. Other robot arms are much better at producing robot arms than weak humans are.

  • that isnt from ho9w its made. wrong viose, iv seen this episide before

  • B.net was here.

  • i love how he said robots are made for repetive work witch is dangerous or bored human beings to death

  • Good Info

  • I WANT ONE! lol

  • do you know from where i can get some info on this robot cause im doing one similar to it..thanks

  • Lol, machines making machines :D

  • @eftelthing lol robot sex lol

  • @eftelthing what about rabbits making rabbits?

  • @eftelthing ?v=xhv8eNs86nk

  • This program annoys me sometimes. They don't actulli know what the machines used are called. 1:34 Automated metal drill, err try a CNC milling machine, I use one everyday, and I've never heard anyone call it a drill.

  • @danway60

That's the point. The program is obviously made for the average Joe, who wouldn't know what a CNC milling machine is. It certainly means nothing to me. However, I have no problem understanding the descriptive "automated metal drill".

  • robots do call in sick!!! think about it!!!

  • Robotics = Slavery :D

  • @RoboTekno Roboto = Music!

  • Cool it can lift a full grown cat lol

  • Czech writer Karel Capek is founder of the "ROBOT" word.

  • True, but the word "robota" is a generic old slavian word, that means "work" or "something to be done" (depending on country and context). Certainly not (only) Czech, and as far as I know not *forced* labor.

  • @lordplenty The "robot" was indeed forced labor during the ancien regime of the 17th to 18th centuries. Landowners, primarily in Eastern European countries, could use this to illicit labor from their serfs. This is comparable to a lesser degree to the French "corvee" tax.

  • @Hitman271 What about Mr Roboto?

  • @Hitman271 Not quite. "Robot" coined in 1920 to describe artificial laborers, from distinctively different word (robota). Flection of the word makes all the difference in Slavic languages, and "robota" is a generic Slavic word. "Robot" is fairly new one, meaning exclusively artificial workers (devices). However, indeed, in (archaic) Czech "robota" had the meaning of "serf labor". I didn't know that ;)

  • Great! How much are robot arms?

  • not sure it can vary from anything like 50$ to around a couple thousand depending on the type of arm, the size, and its model

  • @bomerman104 Big industrial ones go for more than 100 000$...

  • taaaaa i właśnie takie coś skonstruować...

  • Excelent arm! If you have enough money (and tools) to build that...

For me... I will keep building those servo-based arms ...

  • those connectors look pretty light-duty to be used for motor wiring...

also, robots never have sex with your secretary or wife

  • @fornello123 it could happen the other way round though - i hear a hand is all thats needed ;)

  • I like how it's made but why can't they learn the difference between a lathe, mill, drill and router. They always mix them up.

  • you must be a kid, you never earned a meal your hole life, mom and dad just work long hours to keep you this stupid

and you think making statements like that makes you smart.

  • That comment of yours just got to be one of the best I've read in youtube.

  • u haven't saw nothing yet...

  • it's much better than the toy arm but far away from the real industrial arm. nice stuff.

  • Looks like a decent arm -- not like those daft toys using rc servo
