whats the best way to get an AncientFlatstone? i only need one to start the teostra del sol chain, but i cant frigin find one either by mining or beating lao shan lung.....which takes forever. any other suggestions?

@MPLFoster, you only get them from G Rank quests from the mining spots in the Tower, The upper mining spots in the Volcano & from killing G rank Lao. They are still rare. Best bet is to keep trying to get the G Rank volcano quest and hope to be started in the secret area with the three mining spots, then drop down to the upper room with another spot or two.

On that time it was changing from a Rathian to a Hypnoc.

You have to beat the game to get this piercing. As in the "Monster Hunter" quest has to be completed. It's the one that is the last on the Felyne Elder quests and can't be done with a group. You fight Rathalos, Tigrex, Naruga and Rajang one by one in the Arena (so you can't leave) and have to kill them all in 40 minutes.

You have to beat the game to get it. Meaning you have to beat the last "Monster Hunter" quest on Felyne Elder. You fight a Rathalos, Tigrex, Naruga and then Rajang in the arena, solo (cat can come) and have to kill them within 40 minutes. That's less than 10 minutes a piece because they take about a minute or two to disappear when they die. So roughly 8-9 minutes a piece and they do the damage of around a HR 7 or so version of themselves. Hardest quest on the game by far. But worth it.

where do you find the vespoid queen i use psychorerum and it tells me its map six but when i go there i cant seem to see him

Did you watch my video first? As you see, you have to kill a certain number of regular Vespoids before the queen gets angry enough to show herself. She will be above the area she is shown in. Go kill about 30 or so Vespoids and then check the room. If there are other Vespoids in the room then kill those off and she will show up. If they aren't in the room, that means you haven't killed enough on the other areas of the map.

Yeah, I don't 'have' to flash a single monster on the game to beat them. I just like to flash because it keeps the other Vespoids off you and to show people that they can be flashed. For some reason a lot of people didn't seem to know you could flash them.

Well the Akantor bow on MHF2 was the best bow on the game. On 2ndG it is nerfed and pretty weak compared to some other bows. If you are playing MHF2 then you need to make the bow. If you are playing 2ndG then make armor instead.

Yeah he is fairly easy just stand behind his right leg with just about any melee weapon and pound/slice the leg till he falls over go for the throat or stomach then repeat

lol okay. me and my brother cant kill the High Rank Black Gravios to get Akantor. Meaning we havent killed any fatalis yet. even though we downloaded them.

You have to kill the mission ones and the download ones doesn't count sadly v.v we killed a few of them

Black Gravios is a beast. Try to use dual swords with a mix of High Grade earplugs. Try to go in there, each with 15 flash bombs and 4 traps, Take turns flashing him while the other keeps using the demon dance combo on his stomach. When you can, put a trap down (I prefer pitfall on Gravios) and try to blow his chest open with some LRG Bomb+. Once his chest is open it is a lot easier.
