There are various reasons why I don't, in particular I really don't have time for lots of visitors. That's not to say you wouldn't be welcome if you somehow got here, but it wouldn't be as exciting as you think.
You might do a trick I use sometimes, I gey my two lengths of speaker wire and then on one cable I put a wrap or two of electrical tape on there so I know that the one wire is for the left channel and the wire w/o tape I use for the right.
Who doesn't love K-cars? They're amazing. I have an 88. I can't believe the things are considered classic. Haha. I want to keep mine forever. I've put so much work into it i don't care anymore.
Keep the vids comin' Bill, I had a 88' Aries wagon K car, best vehicle I ever owned. I live in Illinois as well and I feel your pain when it comes to all the damn road salt!!
Great vid. Let me know if you need any advice, i am a professional car audio installer, just from were you stand though, use some standard speaker wire, 2 sets actually, one cut longer than the other to accommodate for the left being farther away than the right speaker, just measure the distance between the 2 speakers and make a harness that passes along the passenger side of the vehicle as to avoid any +12v lines that might cause noise oscillation throughout the speaker wires, good luck!
Lots of cars for sale around here, sometimes ones that are too cheap after they've been sitting for a while. I'm not planning on getting any more, I have more than enough right now.
Be careful with CC's closeout sales. What they've done is marked up their prices to the full manufacturer's list price, and then advertised discounts on that. Thus you often end up paying *more* than the normal price at other stores. (CompUSA did the same thing when they were going out of business.) For example, I saw a Canon camcorder for $399 minus a 10% discount at Circuit City today... Wal-Mart has the same model at a normal price of $299!
did the reliant oroginally came with rear speakers?
on my buick, do change rear speakers u just need to pop the trunk open and the speaker boxes are rright below the window, no need for taking the seat out. but i guess thats preinstalled so which is why lol
if theres a walmart nearby you can get a good wire set for speakers for little over 12 bucks i think might be cheaper the thick blue and grey wire is the ones i use works great for that kinda stuff lol on the devil bit ya

it seems like K-cars are notorious for rusting floorboards. I need to get a new floor AND trunk in mine.

I used to have both an 88 and an 84. The 88 took a dump but I still have the 84 and am going to fix it up good.

Both sets of speakers were open box, and I comparison shopped online and at Best Buy first. I made sure to do my homework, and I think I did alright.
