I very confused, nas and jay-z are actually very talented. sure jay-z could never compare to Nujabes and Funky DL, but have you listened to his more recent tracks? they are very artistic and trace back to the roots of hip hop culture, he's like the mini-nujabes of modern rap-crap, and nas . . you cant even touch nas man . . he has been the source of inspiration for so many whom have been successful in the musical arts. But hey why dont we just focus on Funky DL on here ok :(

Faking an accent to appeal to the Americans is neither independant nor cool. Hence the reason funky DL isn't as big as he could be. For the record, I like American hiphop more than English and Tribe are my absolute favourite. But I like this tune and I'm gonna forget about the politics for a minute.....

Also u.k accent can work on tracks and in general is much darker and stabby sounding then the u.s counterpart. Hence the reason funky dl doesn't do it to smooth tracks otherwise it wouldn't fit.
