I might be weird but when I listen to good music and I'm put in a good mood i start laughing that super villain laugh............its way more beautiful to me than it sounds HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

and kk maybe you don't like its placement here but dont insult them of that . .. ok I'm sorry i did not mean to put such excessive comments :( but i like these vids because I dont have to worry about hurtful comments, just positive comments about the amazing musical talents of these people, comments relevant to the vid above, ok this shall be my last comment -_-
??? Huh you all please dont base your whole musical view of someone only on a few of his/her tracks. fire? fire and peace its like ying and yang, they rely of each other. How could it disturb the peace but actually just be defining the peace. I love Nujabes for their peaceful flow and sound but not everyting is peaceful, sometimes we need a reality check, I rely on Nujabes for my escape, but the others you all speak of? they speak of harsh reality in a artistic way. what's wrong with that?
@polkin56 Nothing but Nujabes is life, peace and tranquility and Nas is fire, they oppose eachother, even though they both based in Hip Hop, Nujabes is chill and Nas fucks up the serene flow.
@PureL0gic :( huh? I very confused, nas and jay-z are actually very talented. sure jay-z could never compare to Nujabes and Funky DL, but have you listened to his more recent tracks? they are very artistic and trace back to the roots of hip hop culture, he's like the mini-nujabes of modern rap-crap, and nas . . you cant even touch nas man . . he has been the source of inspiration for so many whom have been successful in the musical arts. But hey why dont we just focus on Funky DL on here ok :(
@andyboy667 Jay z i agree but Nas hasnt made it that bad i mean i personally hate new age rap but the lyrics of Nas makes you think about the suffering of others.
@thelapointe I know but this is really a nujabes mix, we want just relaxing music about the joyful things in life; Nas I respect but not in a place like this
@kaleexto he's been ripped for copying the style of Tribe before as well as the fact he's English and raps with an American accent..... however he produces alot of his own stuff and it's pretty good. So it's down to whether you care about the artist as well as the music or just the music?
@kaleexto I can, but there's a big thing about fake American accents here in England. England wants it's independance and respect on the urban scene. Faking an accent to appeal to the Americans is neither independant nor cool. Hence the reason funky DL isn't as big as he could be. For the record, I like American hiphop more than English and Tribe are my absolute favourite. But I like this tune and I'm gonna forget about the politics for a minute.....
@IronBallsMcGuinty i guess "American" accent is kind of ignorant to say, because there is more latin-romantic speaking countries than english speaking countries in the America Continent, most hip-hopers here in Mexico rap with their accents and their likeable, i cant find how Funky DL is faking an accent, he's just flowing and stating his poetry, at least he's not selling his mouth to be having a dumb accent, as long as the lyrics are good, its all good bro, Peace from Mexico.
@kaleexto Woah! Now you sound like you're cussing my accent! If you heard an American tryin to do an English accent it would sound dumb right.
Also u.k accent can work on tracks and in general is much darker and stabby sounding then the u.s counterpart. Hence the reason funky dl doesn't do it to smooth tracks otherwise it wouldn't fit.
Real u.k hiphop (London) example below, works best on a gangsta beat like so:
@IronBallsMcGuinty I agree, smooth and funky beats and the English accent just doesn't gel, which is a shame if you want to rap over those beats which funky DL obviously does but I have to admit, as a a guy living in England, his fake accent puts me off his music.
thanks for uploading :)
