I have a hard time believing our soldiers would do this.. I know SS soldiers did it in Germany but they thought it was for a good cause, to exterminate the Jews. Internment and Resettlement Camps do not sound like prisons to me. They use the word detainee and military combatant. Not prisoner or inmate. Inmates are released not "resettled" to some other state.
Is this any scarier than the fact that civilians are trained to run prisons? I mean, there are prisons.. does that scare you? There are army soldiers who commit crimes and go to military jails.. does that shock people? Why wouldn't this be an MOS in the army? They forgot to mention that if you are killed or die while in the military, that your body parts will be dumped in a landfill dump. Air Force dumped soldiers' remains in Virginia landfill, military records show, The Air Force dumped the incinerated partial remains of at least 274 American soldiers.
If the remains were unidentifiable, then the remains should have been given a descent burial, by being placed in the GROUND, and covered with dirt. This is how the "civilized" world handle their deceased.
The remains were simply body parts, not entire bodies. Hands arms, feet and the like, none of which are required to be interred in saame manner as bodily remains.
I see what you are saying, and agree that a landfill probably isnt their best move, but fuill blown honors for a foot is not appropriate either. Maybe some consecrated ground near the facility would be a good compromise.

I have a hard time believing our soldiers would do this.. I know SS soldiers did it in Germany but they thought it was for a good cause, to exterminate the Jews. Now that thinking like that has subsided and people are less bigoted, what is the government going to tell our soldiers to convince them that regular American citizens should go to camps to die? I worked at Katrina and neither I nor any coworker confiscated any guns from anyone. We were not issued directed energy weapons nor did we use any weapon at all -- not ever. We relocated people who were homeless. FEMA was created by retired Federal workers. Most of us are over 65 and none of us are being trained to become prison guards. @jbholmes2 No. I'm sorry, if you aren't 100% aware of Fema camps, and of the fact that the Patriot Act plus this new indefinite detention bill are absolutely comparable to Hitler's Enabling Act of 1933, then you need to do your homework.
