  • why is this pic video? not the best ive ever seen. you cant explain to people how to do it. alot of people need visuals

  • I like sparkles

  • Love em!! They look so kool! Perfect for valentines!!!

  • My grandma used to add a few drops of nail polish remover to her polish after they became thick. I wonder if that will help them disburse. Gonna try b/c I want to do 2nite with my old thick polish. I've tried marbling 4 times and it was a big mess. It all stuck together in one blob. No way to drag a pattern. I guess the polish was already too dry.

  • @Page5081 you should add the polish remover to the polish. I had the same problem. Don't put it in the water because it won't do anything.

  • It would have been better if u actually did the tutorial

  • this is a bad video, no offense but ive seen like a kajillion better ones =/

  • I've used vaseline around my nails n u can easily scrape the paint off from ur skin, I used a toothpick works great:)

  • I bet you could put some vaseline or lip balm around your nail to keep the paint from sticking to your skin. Anyone tried that?

  • Yeah, this video is no good. Doesn't give you all the information you need. Just tried this with my nails using this video and it was an epic fail. Plus you can't read the directions. White on white is a bad idea.

  • this is sooo cool

  • best nails ever but not good song♥

  • those colours ur using suk

  • THIS WILL GET YOUR NAIL POLISH TO SPREAD!!! READ!!!

Ok. The trick is to find the right kind of nail polish. I found out that Pure Ice and Sinful Colors are really good brands. Anytype of runny kind of nailpolish will work the best. You don't want chunky, dried, or thick nail polish, you kinda want a runneish type. Pure ice is the best i've ever found. and it's less than $2 a bottle.

    YOUR NAIL POLISH WILL SPREAD!!!

THIS WILL GET YOUR NAIL POLISH TO SPREAD!!!

  • @mmmchocolate12345678 i used sinful colors and it SUCKED. sally hansen works better for me just saying

  • guys commenting that it didnt work, try using filtered warmish water, and make sure its really opaque good polish such as china glaze. don't use sparkles.

  • if you use the wrong polish then it wont work u need to find polish that will expand!! so theres no need to post negative comments ur just being mean and are too lazy to try more

  • i tried it too thank you IT DIDNT WORK JUST STOOD IN THE MIDDLE !

  • i just tried this a few minutes ago and it work perfectly!!!!!

  • Kool

  • "BULL" this does not work i would not waste my nail polish or my time on it again

  • i wish you would have made a video instead of just pics i think my simple little pleasures is the best but that my opinion

  • This isn´t the best marble I´ve ever seen. Not at all.

  • Please do not use tape it can ruin thedesired look and take the nail polish on your nail and peal it off Put some lipbalm on ur finger or some lotion(NONWATERY KIND!) then wipe it of with a napkin hope this helps :)!

  • can you do two nails at once?

  • @Preciosa2112 You can do as many as you can fit...I would recommend leaving out the thumb and just do that finger alone but you can do the other four at once.

  • nt the best. go to simple little pleasures page, she is bomb!!

  • @SenoraFlowerLollypop Thats who I watch too. She has a facebook page as well. My first try after watching her and mine look awesome!

  • Sorry, but what makes your video technique the best? It's just like the others

  • @bighousenurse worst

  • @bighousenurse In fact I find it much lower quality than others.

  • the glitter makes it look cheap

  • This junk dont work for me! I tried. The polish dont spread, and when I try n use the toothpick it just sticks to it!! urgh I have tried a million times with all different temps of room temp water.

  • @666SarahMC your nail polish may be too dense, I had the same problem.

  • @evanesencegirl101 This is where the pause button comes in.

  • @evanesencegirl101 This is where the pause button comes in.

  • i like it better when people actually talk in tutorials otherwis its too much reading

  • u suck u didnt even explain it

  • I did it today and it took me four hours, but I found that Revlon and Sally Hansen Insta-Dry (ironically) work the best, at least out of what I have. ^o^

  • All nail polishes work just some work more than others :0)

  • i tried it million of times but the nail polish does not spread and just stays.....................

WHY SOO???? IS THERE PROBLEM IN THE NAIL POLISH OR WHAT???????????

  • @rockstar98aj You probably just have to do it in warmer water. If your nail polish you're using is old it sometimes doesn't work! Just try warmer water and different colors (:

  • im new 2 this and....THIS IS SOOO KOOL

  • I just cant get this right. So, i did the crackle one instead. Its a lot easier

  • Helloo....Just thought i would ask you a quick question.....Whenever i try this, the nail polish just stays in one small blob and doesn't spread?......Do you know why this is happening??....Many thanks :D

  • @WeDoHaveCookies you probably need a bigger glob to drop. also, let the blob drop naturally. dont touch the glob to the water and dont touch the brush to the water. just let the blob fall from the brush into the water :)

  • @WeDoHaveCookies i've tried this and it works.u should know that u need to use room temperature water(not warm, not cold) and try a low density nail polish.not all polishes work..try many and choose the one that works..hope u succeed :D

  • @24LittlePumpkin Thanks, i will try this technique :D

Also theree is another thing; It takes forever for the paint to come of the brush (im running low on my nail varnishes haha). Could i add water to my nail varnish or would that ruin it?? Many thanks :) xoxo

  • @WeDoHaveCookies i cant really answer u cause i had full bottles of polish so i didnt care about the quantity XD but u may try it with a drop or just take it out by running a small stick over the brush.. :)

  • This is awesome! It's my first time watching this thing!

Does any nail polish work? If so, i will definitely try it :0

  • the sparkles made the design go a little overboard :P

  • @rachaelb404 You can NEVER have too much sparkles!!!!!!

  • I love the music. hehe

  • Hello everyone! When you get a chance (after watching these amazing videos of course) could you come check out my nail art videos? Let me know how I'm doing! Thanks! :)

  • Can i use any nail polish i want? Or do i have do buy some expensive ones? If i uses some crappy nail polish, will the polish spread then?

  • Im not trying to b mean but the music annoying

  • @bernarya thats why a person invented the mute button

  • @LookAtMeNoe1899 exacly :D

  • @bernarya Says you.

  • @xionandroxas98 Ok? O_o

  • @bernarya Then put it on mute like I did (:

  • @GirlJInnovations how long it takes, more or less, to do all the nails?

  • China glaze polish works best

  • I have t done this but it hasent really worked for me. is there a certain type polish thats best to do this with? does it need to be a thin polish?

  • Nice cup...

  • Do you use any thing to make the nail polish spread

  • it HAS to be at room temp though.

  • was that just water???

  • @SaifaArian Yeahh

  • ... you need to use filtered water, the nail polish will spread better, and you can do multiple nails at once but make sure you put them all in at the exact same time, and if you use petroleum jelly or chapstick instead of tape it is way easier and less messy

  • my nail polish didnt spread it just sat in the middle ...

  • @stephanie1537 Use a filtered water or bottled water in room temperature. That's a common reason.

  • @stephanie1537 if it doesnt spread on the top too much or just sits on the bottom in a glob then try a different brand or color of nail polish :)

  • @stephanie1537 kay yah that happened with me too but like i tried again and maybe try dropping the drops from a higher point like idk for me it spread like the fifth time but i was still a fail anyway so it doesnt really matter but yah

  • @stephanie1537 lazy polish XD

  • @stephanie1537

Sometimes it does that. If its old, or if its the peel of kind, or if its the wrong brand =)

  • @smileyfacemcgee So, what are good brands? Mine are new and not the peel kind and ive seen other tutorials using the brand ihave (Sally hansen)

  • @elenabaker

Well I use the Xtremes. Also it could be the water you use. Make sure its filtered, tap wont work for me, neither will bottles water. I just get it from my fridge and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  • @stephanie1537 Thats happened to me your water may be to cold or to hot it has to be just right for it to spread right :)

  • @stephanie1537 most nail polish sits in the middle, the bast nail polish for this is sally hansen

  • @stephanie1537 You'll need to play with the water temperature. Turn off any fans and close AC vents because any air movement will dry the polish too fast. I had a heck of time getting started until reading someone else's tip about the moving air. 8) I also don't worry about taping the fingers - it's easy enough to get that thin layer of polish off the skin, then use a nail brush, soap and water to get the cuticles.

  • @stephanie1537 i had the same problem but it's super easy to solve just shake cup/bowl

  • @stephanie1537 mine did the same. i just made a pattern with it and it was fine :/ i just did lots of dots with it..

  • @stephanie1537

    mine does the same =)

  • @stephanie1537 try using bottlewater :)

  • @stephanie1537 use a different nail polish. You cant really tell what kind of nail polish is gonna actually work until you try it so just keep experimenting and you'll eventually find some that works.

  • My nail polish does not spread like that. How do you make it do like that.

  • @TaylorxAmeliaxSummer Not all nail polishes work :P

  • I love this new technique of doing nails! sorry for the spelling! But I do have a question, what do you recommend I use to guard the skin around the nails? i used scotch tape, yet it still got all around my nail on the skin lol. any advice will be greatly appreciated! btw i subbed ya :)

  • this actually works, you just have to do it the right way, it took me awhile to get it

  • @alexlocer121 yes you have to.

  • it dont work

  • do you have to keep putting nail plosh in the bowl for each nail??

  • @alexlover121 No, but it might be a little messier with multiple nails.

  • i love doing this its cool and u did good on the step-by-step directions it was very helpful i used this for one of my speech projects thanks <3

  • OMG!! i love marble nail art it's supeerrrrr fuN!!

  • I tried water marbling, and I didn't get anything except a lot of wasted nail polish. It is hard!

  • @ChewyChocs yes

  • Can the nail polish be of any type?

  • Cat's Eye: occhi di gatto ( キャッツ アイ,?, Kyattsu Ai) è un manga di Tsukasa Hojo, da cui è stata tratta anche un serie tv anime andata in onda in Giappone nel 1983

  • ok..wat excactly makes this technique better than the other marble techniques...

but the result looks cute on you!

I´m not gonna try any more marble stuff because I never get a good result, just a big mess and I´m tired of that...

  • it's better if u used room temp FILTERED water. so it'll spread better

  • I think that for those of you that it isn't spreading might be the fact that the water has to be perfectly room temp or it won't spread, although as some of you have pointed out, it could also be the type of nail polish.

  • Do you realy have to apply a white coat before you get started? Or is a transparant basecoat enough?

  • i did this technique and its greaaaat !

but it does not look so good as your nails look ! :/

maybe i just need practise :D

  • my nailpolish doesn't spread! It remains in a tiny circle and then when I put me finger it it all sticks like a BIG BLOB. Does it have anything to do with the water being in a very shallow bowl?

  • @iluvgh3tt0princ3ss It happened to me to.......

I don-t know why...but the same thig happened to me....i think the laque is the problem....

  • @iluvgh3tt0princ3ss from what i have tried, I think you need Acrylic Nail polish because mine isnt and it did the same thing yours did.

  • @iluvgh3tt0princ3ss i think is the nail polish that is too thick

    mine did that at first

just add some acetone in your nail polish but not too much :)

  • @xmsxemox

I wouldn't put straight acetone into nail polish. I suggest you opt for a proper thinner instead

  • what kind of cuticle did you use coz my cuticle are so thick

  • what do you use to edit?

  • nice

  • room temp ?

  • good job! more water marbling video.

  • Great! This is awesome! gonna go try it out... =)

  • I've always wanted to know how to do this! Thanks so much, I can't wait to try it out.

  • let me know how it goes! best of luck!
