'trueeaglesfan' quiksilver does some d30 body armour, look it up.

and 'pelican frost' d30 doesn't stop any spearing imapacts, such as a knife, as a knife has such a small surface area at the point, which is where youd be stabbed. im just guessing here, but i presume that a bullet would count as a spearing impact, as it has a relatively small surface area where it hits you and goes extremely fast :)

It's most likely designed to protect against blunt force, like falls.

Not all the d3o material hardens at once - only the area around the impact.

A lot of that small orange panel would have hardened, as it's quite a small panel.
