@DarumaXIV The attacks are training feeds, not intended as 'real' attacks. Different drills focus on different skills. This one is meant to train clearing or catching the hands so each 'attack' is only meant to set up a scenario that allows the defender to practice.

@MrPokerman5250 You're right, its unrealistic in a sense when defending yourself in a self-defense scenario, because usually the one who knows FMA could end it in a single counter. But when you have 2 FMA practitioners, it becomes a sport-like scenario, where whoever makes the wrong decision first loses, kinda like jiujitsu
