  • wow, impressive! perfekt gespielt ;-)

  • Really well played. I'm Scottish and think it's great that a German person has taken an interest in our culture. Wilkommen freunde!

  • Not just one German person... me too!!!

I´ve beeen to Wales and Ireland, Scotland will be not least but NEXT! There must be a Gaelic origin. I must have been there a thousand years ago... Always a shiver... :-)

  • Wilkommen alles.

  • As mtankcdr said before, there are a lot of germans who like the scotish :) Bagpipe music make ppl feel, i dont know why, but i think it´s cause of its proud, timeless and everlasting sound and background. Its about honour, valor and pride, and this makes this kind of music very very epic and "true". Hails to to the scotish!

  • @hertblue

have to hold a speach in front of my english class about scottish songs, Im absolutly impressed how crazy music you make :)

sounds well and absolutely individually... so greetz from germany

  • @afropso Good luck with your speech! Don't forget Pibrochs and laments too ;-) And how at ports when Scots used to leave for USA, CAN, AUS, they used to pipe them away because they knew they would never see them again. Very sad. Very emotional ;-)

  • cool

  • ist der dudelsackspieler deutsch?

  • Ja - I am deutsch and maybe that's why many of the comments here are in German. Why not? Scotland is a country and Deutsch is a language and the Highland Pipes are a musical instrument played in most if not all countries of the world by people of very different languages, ethnies - slim people, fat people, short and tall. The only thing that matters is if they CAN play.

  • well i didnt say i had a problem with it so u dont need to be so rude

  • sorry - I didn't want to be rude but that question (why does a non-Scott play pipes?)comes up regularily.

i didnt say why does a non scot play babpipes

  • sorry again...

  • ABSOLUT YES
