  • I use Caloosa's Cracker brand. Mid priced with quality.

  • I have both. 10 ft in 1/4 and 3/8. Depending on bait size. 3/8 will sink faster if in deeper water. Remember not to throw up current of pilings and never let it hit bottom.

  • @captgary1 i didnt cast up current atleast i didnt think so haha i actually at the time it got snagged found out that there was some broken pilings from the standing ones that were submerged

  • @captgary1 which net brand? im getting an 11' black pearl 3/8" but i want a smaller 7-8' for shallower water and when a large net isnt necessary

  • mesh size?

  • @redscarf11 3/8's 10' net

  • @captgary1 k cuz my 12' 1/4" got pulled into some pilings while i was at egmont casting on greenies and it got tore up past repair and i was looking at getting a new 12' and i was wondering if i should get 3/8 since it would sink faster, do bait get gilled in 3/8 mesh?

  • that's pretty deep there. So did you catch anything in that cast?

  • @skullhart , Yes, I did get some threadfins. Sorry I cut it short.

  • that's pretty deep there. So did you catch anythin?
