You know, it's not actually required that you match the movie. You can bring your own ideas to it too. I hate when I see school/amateur shows that just copy the movie. This show in particular is open to other takes.

i loveeeddd the dramatic effect of the fence and the actors shaking it with the lights flashing. it was great.

although i think it would've been better in the song if the actors didn't get so excited at the end and started clapping their hands.

Yes. Well, Godspell Jr. actually. We did it as a circus theme. It was quite fun. I didn't like it at first, but now I've grown to like it. We had pre-recorded music except for "By My Side". For that song, I went off stage and played the piano for it.

I remember seeing my cousin doing this years ago and I don't think that there was a dry eye in the place. I also remember that there was a little kid who was there who got a bit freaked out when he saw the person playing Jesus alive and talking with people. Very good performance.
