  • check the tread boss. You still dropping loads into my ex?

  • why was the crane boom extended? would be an easier lift if it was retracted surely?

  • MY question is, lifting by the outriggers how safe is that? what if the ship itself tilts.Of course with such a heavy lift all the other cranes are supposed to hold up while this lift is being performed.I am just questioning how secure is it having the lift cables, in what appears to be in a position where slippage could occur...

  • ? air crane!?

  • el idiota q filma debe tener parkinson....

  • muito louco meu

  • What where they waiting for? Time to change the tires and check on the brakes lol

  • If I were the sight boss he would be fired, the guy in the white shirt has obviasly never done any kind of rigging

  • paraems pela filmagem

  • Liebherr, das crane!

The yellow hat man is the pluton comander, they allwyas go first!

  • Ha Ha welcome to the HILL! we still have a few MEN with balls in good ol Calli! im right down the street from ya in the patch perforating. nice vid

  • vid sucks I cant even watch it

  • salve a elevação de cargas. diga sim ao trabalho seguro

  • vídeo interessante, salve a moveimentação de cargas!!!

  • would'ent a tower crain down there be easyer

  • boring

  • osha would have a field day with these guys

  • white t-shirt wan die... fuxk ,no safety....

all white heatmet doing wat... should call tat guy dun stand thr....

  • u guys suck that bad man just having a go at me for pointing out stupidity try watching some tv programs and see all the dangerous riggers hanging out under 1000 ton plus loads and then try and tell me that im wrong and the next person who calls me a liar better be able to back it up with out chaining the subject (hydraulics lines) u know who u r

  • Almost everyones within the Fall zone and the camera guy. OH&S

  • it look's like a toy

  • grab toiletpaper, wipe your arse, look @ it, 1RIGGERS TICKET!!

  • Come on, hes got a hardhat on, it´s all good.

  • if crane will lift crane, and lifted crane would lift other crane, and crane lifted by lifted crane would lift crane, would it reach moon?

  • yeah! go under it !!! LOL

  • well at least he's got his hard hat on!!!

  • why is the crane in the hole?

  • @1000spook

Does not matter about the capacity of rigging! You never ever walk under a lifting load! And yes dual or more tag lines are always required for any type of complete overhead lift.

  • you dipshit! Yeah that line could have held the earth in the air but there are soo many more problems that crane could have had while he was walking under that load. Think safety man! This is why happens when u get to comfy in the jobsite! Then an accident happens

  • @Wakko0o By God im a roofer and have seen the hydralic lines blow and man thats why you dont eeeeeeever walk under a load, to do so means you have no clue as to what you are doing... Thats a real dumb move because like you said there are many factors that can happen and yes they do happen ......

  • i think you should all lay off the caffeine i have worked on sites all my life with bigger loads than that floating around and theres a very slim chance of any thing going wrong with a lift like that the lines they use are designed to take twice the load that is being lifted there the chance that the line would break is like a billion to one and what is all this about tag lines i guess i know why u where only a rigger for a few years lol sucks to be u and your opinion

  • @1000spook Well im a roofer and have worked with cranes for 18yrs currently Terex cranes ! my only 2 questions for you are #1 As a rigger what is the policy of walking under a load ? and #2 Have you ever seen the hydrualics go on a crane ?well I have and if you where walking under it you be about a 1/8 inch tall person so keep taking your chances because even if it was a 1 in a million chance , that could be the day your under the load....

  • @1000spook You know #1 either your lying about being a rigger or #2 your just simply retarded ! This is why .. If you are a rigger you know the operator will always say dont walk under it, and if osha happened to see it do you realize how hefty a fine for it is ? No I guess you dont because your a #2 and that why I can tell you dont know anything, It doesnt matter how strong ur straps or cables are there are other things that can happen with the crane itself dont you know about hydrualics ?

  • that guy in white t-shirt is very idiot ..... if cable is broken it would fall on him and get killed

  • yep the guy who hold the camera is a dipstick and the other dipstick with yellow hat will get what he deserve one of these days.

  • The yellow cab guy is a looney!

  • I wish some one would show the dickhead running the camera how to hold a camera steady..

  • the crane would never have fallen. We used two raps of duct tape to secure the cable, instead of the usual single rap.

  • Stupid White with yellow worker is nut !!!!

If this crane will fall at him and it will kill him . THINK ABOUT SAFETY AT WORK !!!!!! .

  • Man, that guy standing in the corner is nuts! Naw, plain dumb. I'm surprised they made the life with him standing there for so long.

  • Michael J Fox just rang me...He wants his camcorder back dude

  • love the underside view!

  • wow, this pick a trip. i wonder what job this was? why would they need to drop the crane in the hole like that?

  • safety last

  • Pasadena, Ca...Seismic center of the world.

  • The Tard in the white shirt is changing the oil while they have it up. Just can't afford to waste any moment of time you know.

  • dude lay off the caffiene, you shake to much

  • @partypack1 he was afraid of crane ;)

  • i was a rigger for a few years and i hav to say wat the hell is that guy in white t-shirt doing? u never ever stand under a load like that, and the guy about 2 taglines is rite, 2 taglines would be safer, exspecially with a heavy lift like that besides there was enough guys standing around there they could hav held onto a tagline, if i was there the first thing i would hav did was yell at that retard to get the fuk out of under that load

  • dude seriously i agree 100% with everything you said, the weight of just the truck is 32,000 pounds, add another 12,000 pounds for the boom of the crane, brings it up to 42,000 we only use it for small things like signs and shit, but still even with a load that weighs 3,500 compared to 50.000 pounds, you never ever ever!!!! stand underneath a load no matter what, if this was a state worker his ass would have fucking been fired right on the god dam job!!!

  • @motaluva6 i guarantee the carrier house and boom weigh a lot more than that. its probably well over 100k. i think that's a 190 ton libherr they are putting in the hole. as for safety i know for a fact that that company has an impeccable safety record.

  • most likely he didnt understand english

  • @creeclanwarrior69 totally agree dude... you would get booted offsite if you were in Australia... probly loose any relevant tickets too..

  • @creeclanwarrior69 oh i thought you said nigger at first lmao

  • @creeclanwarrior69 Dude what are u talking about he's the safety guy checking for leaks..... LOL

  • @creeclanwarrior69 I think maybe he's farther on the other side than the one dimensional camera can detect. At any rate he was standing a lot closer than I would want to. Pretty much if something gave way I think all of those men in the pit would have a a good likelihood of being hurt or killed.

  • @creeclanwarrior69 i was thinking about the same thing. i never get anywhere close to heavy machinery like this though, i'm just a car mechanic, so i understand a bit.

  • @creeclanwarrior69 as if, that guy has a hard hat on, that little crane will just bounce off that and he will come out unscathed.

  • @creeclanwarrior69 Chill man, he's obviously wearing a safety helmet.

  • @Synetearis LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO creative answer.......

  • its mario at 0:57

  • Why the hell is that guy in the white underneath the load? Deathwish?

  • 1 tag is enough for this pick, I am a crane operator and spent many years rigging and oiling, even tough 2 would make things alot easier, 1 still is enough, but hell what would I know, it's only my life.

  • yeah crown gear, you tell em'. im a welder not a rigger but i know what you mean. when you know your shi*, you know your shi*.

  • bloody shaky

  • Dude, if you're going to take those kind of videos, get a freaking tripod. That made my head ache.

  • a.q

  • i agree with highclimber. 1 tag is enough. dont listen to me either, i dont use tags coz im a driver. 2 tags, 2 different strenghts of people swinging or causing a swing. 1 tag, 1 direction, 1 banksman, 1 lift, 1 boss. keep livin well.!

  • wank!!!

  • -.-

  • Actually crowngear you can tag objects with one tag rope as long as you are able to swing in a left or right direction then you can control the load...but its whatever...i have only used one a 1000 times so i am biased! live well!

  • what street in pasadena,,,

try less shake shake shake videocamera

  • Someones gotta tag line it! Glad it didn't have to be me down there.

  • tag line it?

  • A tag line is used to control the load from swinging or rotating when lifted. You could never lift a load like this with out some sort of control medium, so a simply rope used as a tag line would be used at, at least two opposite ends minimum of the load being lifted.

  • Tag lines depending on the weight and this crane being the perfect example, the tag line will pull you around dragging you across the ground at times lol, but each person on a tag line has to predict if it is swinging away from them and pull the load back to them to keep it straight and in control.

  • aight. gotcha. I didnt understand what the term ment. thanx dude...now i know.

  • Thet must have reshot this vid just for you because i see 2 tag lines on it

  • Yes there is more than one, good smart guy, because you can't tagline an object with one, unless you figured out how to push a rope.

  • Seeing as you're claiming superior intelligence. Just thought you should know 1 tag line is very possible. Without having to push on your rope. With a load properly tagged one person should be able to maneuver It any direction you want simply by pulling the rope where ever needed. Be careful walking is involved though. we would not want to pull you away from youtube, where it's easy to be a high IQ holder. sounds like you need to spend sometime swamping on a picker truck. :)

  • I just showed my crew your reply and ...well there was a lot of laughter. There are riggers and then there are riggers, like one of them said here, when you get to lift 140,000,000 dollars in the air, then come talk to us with credit, not crap from a picker truck. LOL, Get real, we have real jobs! Crane work is what we do.

  • why in the hell would you stand down there?

  • stand fucking still man

  • u wouldnt stand still if u were worried about a massive crane falling on yu

  • uh loco que flashh!!

  • оператор пьяный чтоли? что руки то не держат ничего

  • 来自中国同行的问候,祝福快乐 来自中国同行的问候,祝福快乐

  • hujowo

  • 来自中国同行的问候,祝福快乐

  • Sunt de aceeasi parere cu tine :)

  • If there was a prize for worst camera work ever, you'd get it hands down friend!

  • Statistically your more likely to be crushed from a crane being lifted from a hole then eating a poisonous potato.

  • keep the camera still, wtf, do i have to teach you everything?

  • Lol @ builders casually walking under it :)

  • If you are afraid to walk under stuff like that, you have the wrong job.

You have to respect it, but not be afraind of it.

  • sure like a falling crane wont kill you if you respect it

  • You missed my point, if you are that afraid your job will kill you, you have the wrong job.

It is one thing to know that you could get killed at work, but another to dwell on that fact, as do your job, stop whining, or go get another job.

    Former highman on painting crew.

  • oh ok yeah i agree in that case.

  • Pushing a push mover is probaly more dangourous then crane operating.

If it lookes dangous then people are there to make sure its safe, its the jobs that don;t seem dangorous that will hurt you

  • This is true

  • sorry.fucking surprised IT didnt bend the rigger boxes.

  • fucking suprised i didnt bend the rigger boxes with the slings at that angle.

  • so you done it???;)

  • now and then.put a ltm 1400/1 on a boat at tilbury docks when i worked for baldwins

  • it was a joke....you said "i" instead of "it"

  • You buy a million dollar crane and have monkeys like that unload it? Must be nice to have big pockets.

  • come'n up . . . . . .

  • flying crane

  • who care if it was a bad idea to go under it. deal with it and move on. Proper safty measures were taken so no one got hurt so move on.

  • how could this be a fake and more importantly why would it be?

  • FAAAAKE!! es gibt garkeine kräne

  • To those who argue about getting under this crane. You are all idiots.YOU NEVER GET UNDER A MACHINE PERIOD. YOUR arguements from both side are useless.

  • it weighs 78 tonnes because they've taken off the ballast,it has a further 74 tonnes of ballast and can lift 200tonne max (its a ltm1200/5.2);-)

  • how heavy does this crane weighs?

  • I wouldnt walk underneath that shit

  • So if the load fell he'd be safe huh? He is under it you genius, 1m does not make any difference at that point. Ask your dad if he'd want you walking where he was. Wait, wait, let me guess;"it would never fall".

As for the genius who thinks we didn't know about the "supporting slings", did we think it was just floating up out of the hole or what?

Too bad there isn't a min IQ for the internet. And for the record, when it comes to stupid people, I am an asshole

  • he was there don't you think he might know. The camera isn't perfect. So just shutup. I am sure safety measures were taken.

  • For all the idiots going on about how they shouldn't be walking underneath... You can clearly see that the crane is being supported. You can clearly see the supporting slings around the outriggers.

  • So if the load fell he'd be safe huh? He is under it you genius, 1m does not make any difference at that point. Ask your dad if he'd want you walking where he was. Wait, wait, let me guess;"it would never fall".

  • Think about it this way. If it fell, it would make for better video.

  • Coke26 is 100% correct. ANYTHING mechanical and supported by a lifting device IS subject to fail at any time. No mater HOW many genius caculated the lift. Many of accidents has happened that shouldn't of but did. All it takes is a small unseen crack in a major support or casting and that could be trouble. Beside, if something did fail and it fell, how high would it bounce with the size of the tries on it? Calculate that for me please.

  • Millions in equipment and these assholes are begging to get killed.

I especially like the spotter walking right under. Boy is he a pro.

  • To Camera Man : Stop jerking off while filming, it causes shakiness, bad film images and (some) boys don't like to see it

  • man with camera was rubbish

  • the cameraman why nervous? Or he a neurotic? xd xd

  • wow those ppl should NOT be down there, that could have easily dropped and killed them..

  • is the guy holding the camera epileptic?

  • hnahaha

  • Yeah, I'm gonna barf!

    Bluueeeerrrrrrrrggghh!!!!!!!!

  • apprend a filmer t'a parkinson ou koi mdr

  • Great steady crane lift, unfortunately the cameraman was struggling to steadily hold his camera.

Health and Safety issues may not be enforced by the companys supervisor, but the workers should use Common Sense.

  • really bad camera work the guy can keep still

  • good time for an oil change.

  • The guy in the corner needs to get the hell away from there. Company must not care about safety.

  • Great lift! How close to maxed out was the 5.2?

  • there is always a bigger crane :P

  • here hold my sign i wana get a look at the bottom da' hilck

  • Jesus !!!!! Was the fricken guy with the camera DRUNK !! I have to go and throw up now.

  • they took the counterweights off before they lifted it. they could easily lift it after that

  • The counterweight was not token off. It is not mounted during transportation, nor when driving.

  • i would think it is possabil for a smaller one to lift the bigger one, all it has to be capble of is lifting the weight of the bigger crane, its just the bigger one will lift more & at a greater distance or height

  • Liebherr LTM 1220 5.2 --LIFTING-- a LTM 1220 ??

How the hell is this possible ? The Liebherr LTM on the top must be a bigger engine, I saw an accident here in Copenhagen back in 2006, a 6 wheel crane tipped over, they called for a similar engine (a 6-wheel crane) from the same company, but the helping crane couldnt handle the weight. end of P-1

  • so the operator had to call for a bigger crane(a 8 wheeler crane) to be able to pick up the downed crane. So no way can this be done unless the the engine above the ground is a bigger type. Hmmmm..* Wierd.. !! End of P-2

  • The weight is approx. 60 tons, why should that be a problem? The lifted crane isnt equiped with counterweight.

  • It suuuuuuucked...!!! what the hell was this?? B B B Boooooooring!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If the lift looks boring than the crane operator did is job extremely well. SUPPORT IUOE!!!

  • Hell yeah! Give it a taste of it's own medicine!

  • Is this supposed to happen?... To a crane???

  • i'm surprised that the man in the light blue shirt and yellow hardhat is is willing to be under the crane as it is lifted. i think i'd want to be as far away from any potential death from falling crane as possible

  • Looks like he's phoning the rig--he's gotta be there to see what he's doing.

  • a geci kurva kocsog fasz anyadat bazmeg, ez egy szar...(do not watch this)

  • really interesting video , i've learnt a lot

  • liebherr seran pero lo q dicgo es q grove es mucho mejor q liebherr o ¿¿¿no??? en muchos haspectos

  • grove grove grove es lo mejor hombre

  • considering they are liebherr cranes

  • and the hard hats are for what...?

  • little bits falling that could potentially kill you. And the occasional hits you get when you work under things.

  • haha i was joking. im a builder and wear hatsat work

  • Nice lift, butt keep the camera still or do you have a fysical problemen???

  • By the way you spell, it looks like you have a mental problem.

  • ROFL.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :) thats so funny u guys

  • Must be the same camera man that shoots all the U.F.O. and bigfoot videos...

  • hahahaha funniest comment i have seen on here in a long time!!

  • Well..Hell the quality is about the same ...he may as well have filmed this with a Sony Walkman because you cant see anything.

  • you sayin UFOs dont exist, dont fly around? ahahaah

  • Nah, Really I was just commenting on how bad this video was ..but now that you mention it..yes. you may as well film UFO's and Big foot with a Sony Walkman because the dont exist..not in the sense that they are alien spacecraft or from another planet and Big Foot, well, thats jut a load of crap.

  • lawl defintely a misleading description, a crane that cane pick 265 tons certainly doesn't weigh 265 tons lawl!

  • very cool, my compliment's..see my video with crane libherrr

  • what's with shaking? was the cameraman being humped from behind at the time?

  • can't you hold your phone still?!?!?!
