If you're normal Mario in this game, though, Peach is taller than him. This was back when normal Mario really was normal Mario. It's not like how it is nowadays, where the "no mushroom" height is actually smaller than normal, and Super Mario is the standard.

The best version of this is still the SNES remake. It seems weird though. All of the other games features in Super Mario All-Stars got handheld versions that built on those remakes, but SMB1 and Lost Levels got handheld games based on the NES versions, NOT their remakes.

the gbc version of smb dx is a big inprovement evsrion of the nes .

but i wish that nintendo also had released the gba version to complete the mario triloggy,but they never dit.

aswell there was a part of smb on the e-reader wich becomes a part of sma4,but it was very uncommon,limmited availeble and never released in europe unfotunately!!!!!!!

you need to beat luigi then you get the awesome "lost levels". beating those gave the yoshi award afair. bowser award by beating the star levels (this should be well-known), toad award for all medals and challenge, and peach reward for high score in challenge mode. No Boo award for getting every black boo, though :(

You save (and get a kiss from) Princess Daisy(redhead), but the better pixel-ed pics are of Princess Peach(blonde)? This is as big a slip-up as Double Dragon II when the twins were intro'd as 'Bimmy' and Jimmy Lee.

In the original Super Mario Bros, Peach appeared as a redhead when you saved her (thank the 8-bit pallete). It wasn't until later games when she was seen blonde.

And "Bimmy" Lee is DD3.

Ok, you're wrong about the Princess slip-up there, 'Sal'. If you played the later Mario Party series and Gamecube's MarioKart, you'll see 2 princesses (1 redhead & 1 blonde) with the names Daisy & Peach (ie. 2 different princesses). The original Mario.Bros instruction book reflected the named 'Daisy'. Pardon my geeky knowledge but I DO know my Nintendo roots.

Nope they actually called her Princess Toadstool, Peach is a nickname. Daisy is the Princess from the Mario Land Series thats on Gameboy. Peach is on the Nintendo, Super Nintendo and on 64.

Yoshi for the 8-4 "super player" World (its a copy of the smb2 japanese version, you get these levels if you beat luigi in high score)

Peach for all medalls in the challenge mode and finally

Toad for high score in challenge mode.
