I think you need an anamorphic lens for your projektor, which would enable you to watch the movie in the 1:2.1 widescreen aspect ratio. further more you should try get the movie copied. the orignal should probably be restaurated, so you can enjoy it for a long time.

no, before vcr you could buy or rent movies on super 8 film, mostly porn and cartoons but some feature films were available too. i got several loony toons, disney flics and lots of nasa stuff..
