  • 1:21 boooommmmmmmmmmm!

  • 151 people belive it will look like this when you fight an opponent on the street.

  • WTF 1:14 ?!

  • ok people calm down, to the average person who doesnt know anything about martial arts they will just label it as karate since its the most commercial/popular term , it doesnt mean you have to insult the person they just dont know any better, i thought i heard somewhere that martial artist's are suppose to be humble and respectable? next time just politely inform the person and get that bug out your ass @wasssuuuppp420

  • das war nichts

  • the guy was on ninja warrior :D

  • nest video i ever have seen od REAL self defense!

  • yes it is self defense but if you want to learn proper wing chun go to a school not learn of somevideo made by a guy getting off on showing how good he is you dont see my grandmaster doing this

  • awesome...this ius a self defence wich can be done in real fights sry for my english ^^

  • this is the way Wing Tsun should be trained. Fighting is serious. Almost ALL the fighting videos on Youtube are crap. This is for self DEFENSE. Thanks for posting it!

  • just to make things straight because most ppl here looks like enjoying that subject...wing tsun is a king of kung fu, not karate because karate is 50% legs 50% hands while kung fu ( wing tsun ) is like 75% hands and 25% legs

  • dragon ball :D

  • FINISH HIM, FATALITY.

  • i feel its like AIKIDO but in different way

  • sounds like mortal combat

  • It's gonna look really bad for you in court when the witness says; " yes, your honor, I saw the kungfu guy repeatedly hit the other man even after he was on the ground, helpless.

You WC guys are too in love with your silly thousand hit chain punches.

  • @demoskunk wt is designed with multiple opponents in mind always when this is taken n2 context think about if u have atakers in street assault ( robbery, rape, attempting 2 murder u,ect. when multiple opponents are closeing in this is exactly the kind of mentality u will need &crave these types of skillsets i have had the pleasure of dealing w/ streethugs in this exact manner .& yes im soooo in luv w/ my chain punching streetblast . had me a real good tym listening 2 his cheekbones sound gravelly

  • richtig geil

  • I hate when I see teachers who take it too serious in sparring... I mean, they're masters goddamn..

  • I have a feeling this guys doesnt keep friends for long lol.

  • If that was wing chun.. i want to learn it.

  • @johnsonyao951

Im doing it ;) and thats real ^^

but he is a very hardcore fighter ^^ normaly we just go to defend as much as we must ^^ so its not for attacking xD

  • hahahaha fail music and sound..........guys this is wing tsun....not wing chun....they are different styles

  • lat sao / best form of wt !

  • the sound effects were placed to cover and mask the screaming, whimpering, and cries his opponents were making as he bludgeoned them to death

  • 1:16 hate to have him as my sifu... abit of sparring and ur arm is snapped

  • Those sound effects would make any late 80's to early 90's asian martial arts sound director have a wet dream.

  • whats the name of the song ?

  • @tonydamaga Carl Orff - Carmina Burana

  • Finally some proper Wing Tsun ont he net..

  • Fuckin Hell

  • Great! But the sounds are annoying-.-

  • Decent but training like that you wont have anyone to train with you after while GOTTA be aggressive Ive left guys bloody and had blood in my mouth a night or 2 but gotdamn oboy goes ape shit.

  • This demonstration is one of the most realistic that I've seen on internet.

    thks master Gutierrez

  • wtf!!! crazy!!

  • This fellow isn't near the best...

  • wow wow wow!

Great to see Many thanks for posting!

  • u just gotta think about what kind of a woman the inventor was. She must be freaking hot cuz hot women gotta be violence. beside that this guy has great control

  • it was a nun.... LOL hot nun ftw?

anyways... it started off from a temple combining the crane style and snake style together to fight the army... but before they compeleted the combination, the army attacked the temple and the temple was wiped out, a surviving nun continued the combination and made wing chun

  • 0:45-46 wow

  • fantastic!! is this whats taught in traditional wing tsun?

  • No, this is master Gutierrez, LeungTing lineage but with his tough interpretation... Gutierrez is probably one of the best when it comes to ... let the hands do the talking :)

  • I dont want to fight this guy. :(

  • HAHAHA i love these perfectly cheorographed sequences. Im still waiting for a wing chun expert to emerge in the ufc or ANY mma circuit out there

  • have you ever been to an live show if you go and try to attack for exampel Emin Boztepe he could kill you within seconds if you see real fights it looks quiet like this with the difference its not that aggressiv cause its training...^^ other wise you wont find many opontes capable of contering your attacks...

  • like mma matters in terms of real combat man. its a sport with rules and boundaries. Any decent UFC fighter fought like that that in the streets, they would be paste, but most of them know the difference between ring and real combat. you know who a lot of your UFC guys adore man? Bruce Lee. Not trying to rag just enlighten. Think on that.

  • that would be good but they fight to win and some moves or alot are illegal in MMA

  • he looks like rambo

  • No.

    HE IS RAMBO!!

  • wing chun isnt a kind of karate -.-

  • @jusie1270 lol i´ve never heard such an bullshit like this. Win Chun is a kind of wushu that is known as kung fu in the western. get more informations bout the thangs you talk about.

  • @jusie1270 no it's not

  • i hate this kind of karate fight styles

  • karate ........ it just shows that you have no idea of what you're talking about, which is fine because most critics on youtube dont. You're all masters of keyboard-fu!

  • @wasssuuuppp420 ahahahahahaha nice one dude

  • @wasssuuuppp420 its not karate you idiot, ppl like you dont know shit but only know how to talk shit

  • @kinstar I'm saying that its NOT karate, I was referring to another comment. I can see how you'd could misread my post when read out of context. Wing tsun's a very good style.

  • i dont call this sparing hes going to kill all his students

  • @wasssuuuppp420

    lol it's tongue-fu and mouth-tai

  • he knows something :-)

  • Ahhhhh exellent!

  • O_o wtf shit sounds,quali

  • Wing Chung doesn't look awesome or gorgeous but in real fight, it helps you alot.

  • true weng chun have always been useful instead of elegant like Taekwondo and so

  • theres a vast assortment of punches. nothing can really make a punch look "elegant". taekwondo practitioners use those stupid jumping spinning flying kicks to showcase. its not like anyone would use that in a real life situation..

  • except it was useful for them in the period.. As the Koreans could kick Japanese invaders off their horses with those "elegant" "showcase" spinning kicks with much efficiency.

History shapes the systems people use.

TaeKwonDo historically goes under different battlefield assumptions.

    .....

Different techniques for different situations, A willingness and ability to change between them without holding favorites, Sounds like WingTsun principles to me. But what do i know, I'm not master.

  • that first comment makes a good point. yeah about taekwondo, ive been doing it for 17 years now.. i dont believe in those jumping kicks for two reasons. it may have been affective and useful back then, but today's world is a whole new beast. secondly, if your not naturally built light on your feet, its VERY discouraging not being able to do them.. as well as killer on your knees.

  • Agree. They are pretty difficult and pretty unnecessary for today.

Idk.. who knows when you`ll have to kick a samurai in the face off their horse..

  • well all this depends on the level of your martial art skills, I think you have to be very very skilled to use these kicks as useful as its ment to be in a real fight.. But I think most of these martial arts in the western world is alot of showcase today.. I don't know, I've tried taekwondo, shaolin kung fu, and Wing Tsung, and when I fight for real I use my Wing Tsun Only, dosn't look good but its effective

  • Shit man, the day i see a samurai riding down the street on horseback, im kickin that mother fucker straight in the chin.

  • You guys have made me smile, you're educated in what you're talking about and not taking it too seriously. It's true that TKD is too often taught purely as sport, but it's also true that it was made as an effective style. Also, I need to make a shirt now that says "I kicked a Samurai off his horse and all I got was this stupid t-shirt and a sore foot."

  • WT/wingchun resembles premature girls trying to slap each other than anything else.

WT Practitioners say WT is the best for selfdefence, period. Pure ignorance... No single approach can be THE BEST in every situation.

Only 2 Wing chun stylists have entered UFC and if im not mistaken both got KTFO in under 1min.

WT=BS and Emin knows it . Thats why boztepe talked trash about the Gracies then ducked out after Royce accepted his "challenge".

  • You've posted this twice now on two WC vids. You seem to be a MMA fanboy, convinced that only MMA works or is effective.

As for your tired, predictable UFC post, you could argue that no WC practitioner has participated since the early days, when pretty much all fighters were of an amateur nature. Wing Chun can be incredibly effective in a real life engagement, I have, unfortunately used it to defend myself, very successfully.

Is WC the ultimate? No it's why I cross train grappling too.

  • Great Video. 5 stars!

  • Maybe one day, this guys will understand that THIS IS NOT WORKING WITH A REAL FIGHTER, not cooperative and able to perform REAL TAKEDOWNS, throw REAL PUNCHES and knees.

THE DAY THEY WILL SHOW ME A VIDEO OF ONE OF THIS SUPPOSED "MASTER" again somebody really tough (Silva, Rutten, Shamrock, Fedor, Lee Morrison...) I'll get back all my words.

I saw tons of video supposed to be WT vs MMA and they are ridiculos.

I AM WAITING (for a video response).

    I AM WAITING.

  • And I will saw one Fight on the Street with that MMA guys when no Referee is who said no punch in eyes , breast or dick! And you will see how good they are when no referee is because street is street anfd no cage with rules!

  • Jesus you're a retard. I'm getting exceedingly bored and intolerant of this kind of shit. Just because the best fighters in the world don't use these techniques doesn't mean these techniques are useless. Look at REALITY for a second. These techniques and many other oriental ones, WERE USED AGAINST ARMIES THAT HAD PEOPLE WITH FUCKING SWORDS! I'd like to see Shamrock take on a fucking samurai with a sword... NO? Because kung fu practitioners did! Fucking moron...

  • You are right man, it's full of armies outside there equipped with katanas... luckily there is you to defend me with wingtsun :-)

  • kung fu in general. If a martial artist can't use kung fu, that's because he's not good enough to. Bad workers blame their tools. The tools have been proven in mass battles, against opponenets with assorted weaponry and armor, the tools work fine. hence, it's the worker who can't use them.

  • At this point I must apologize. Taken by the rush I didn't explained myself correctly.

I am not saying that wing Tsun or Kung Fu are not effective in fighting. Believe me or not, I practised 4 years of wing tsun when I was younger. What I want to say is that if somebody trains against a partially cooperative opponent, not using full force and speed, then TO ME that training is useless and can create a false sense of confidence. I say this because I tried on my skin, and it wasn't funny.

  • Now, when I train, independently by the style or system I'm using, I train more realistic as possible, and I've seen great improvements in my skills. Again, IMHO, despite the fact that Gutierrez is famous and surely strong, in this video I don't see REAL fighting training. And I know that wing tsun can be MUCH better than this.

    Peace.

  • I totally agree with that.

  • I train WT, and even in my own gym.. I'm faced with guys and girls who don't take their training seriously.. Who aren't really there to learn how to defend themselves, and don't realize the dangers of false confidence.

I feel like that isn't just a WT thing, as when I train Muay Thai and JiuJutsu, it was a similar thing.. Only a few people really wanted to learn, who really cared about what works.. what's practical.

  • Sadly it's someting we have also here in italy. you are completely right. Few people train with the right attitude.

  • These guys look like they know their stuff.

Very realistic looking to me! Hope they didn't get to beat up doing this video.

  • paaaaaaaaaaaaaalmas palmiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitas, higos y castañiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitas

  • Fast hands is important, but quickness is even more so especially quickness of mind, so you can assess the scenario in a moment, and react accordingly and so you can improvise the moves, being that in a real fight you won't be doing specific pre-sequenced forms. What made Lee the best is precisely that he took this stuff and applied it in real street fights and challenge matches, not just in the ring against sport martial artists where many moves couldn't be used then either.

  • I've never seen this applied against a resisting opponent. Until I see it in a real fight against a kick boxer, boxer or MMA guy, it's not impressive.

  • Your not likely to see it unless you're in it. It happens too quick and is an effective way to end a fight quick.. no nonense. I think German special forces (?) use this type of combat.

  • You don't really think that everyone at the street uses kickboxing, boxing or mma, do you? Otherwise you should widen your view... Wing Chun isn't for sports, as kickboxin' and boxin' and maybe some variations of mma are... You could even kill people with it(Wing chun)... Not that I recommend it.

  • Once again. Kung Fu was used against armies of people, and often massive groups of armed bandits, the proof of that is in the temples and in Chinese history. I should say, until an MMA guy or Boxer beats a heavily armed group of medieval bandits, I'm not impressed. -bows-

  • postapolcalyptic chase, you do realize that most people in those times were untrained, even if the kung fu masters in china fought eatch other using the same general theory and method,

basicly saying kung fu v.s kung fu

  • I agree.

I feel more impressed by a Judoka since he's trained against a non-cooperative opponent. This video is simulation, no prove it really works. Maybe but not sure.

  • it's so real.....that No One gets injured in the process of making this video!

  • :-)

  • hey they hired the cobar kai instructor from karate kid to do this video?

  • its real. I tell you...

  • wow, that guy looks hardcore... scary hardcore hmmm

  • Hi, i'm spanish. This video is a demostration of what u can do with WT. The sifu (master) of the video is Victor Gutierrez... One of the most important sifu's in Spain.

  • This guy needs learn some Anger management!!

  • It seems to me that the only real thing you need to be good at Wing Tsun is fast hands. Is this right? I was looking for something to complement my Bujinkan Training, is there more to it that I'm missing??

Is the sticky hands thingo the best part of Wing Tsun

  • what is the music on this video called?

  • it's a bastardized version of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff

  • Wing Tsun is probably the most versatile of martial arts. JJ is used to bring people down and fight them there. Wing Tsun is still largely a striking style.

  • Ju-Jutsu is NOT Judo. Judo is "Ground-Gight". Ju-Jutsu is more like a "Jack-of-all-Trades". I know not a single WT-Fighter who dares to visit our training, although we invited them once. Here in Germany, WTlers tend to think to be invincible. If you "manage" to them they say "I let you win" or something like that.

  • I'm pretty sure that "Judo is "Ground-Gight"" When Judo means, the way of flexibility or passivity.

I have very high regard for the ju-jutsu system, even though i train WT.

WingTsun is versatile, because we can use "ju-jutsu techniques" but still be doing WingTsun.. it's not the techniques what soever that motivates us. It is the principles of economy of motion and efficiency, not resisting so as to get taken advantage, and above all, the ability to change to fit the changing situations.

  • Lol Judo means the Gentle Way

but as my Sensei puts it ' Throws have been clocked at 120 kmh; nothing Gentle about it '

  • its nice when you read a comment from someone who knows what theyre talking about, too many people thing wc is crap cos its not on mma, i like reading about people who know the economy of motion and centre line theory etc thank you

  • no, people think wing chun sucks cuz they have common sense and are able to compare Martial arts to eatch other....

get a grip dude, listen to your self,

you have never sparred a pro boxer using wing chun in your life!. yet I am very suprised on how famous wing chun is even though it is known to not work on a good trained fighter, it only works on untrained fighters, LOL, seriously....try to at least spar a pro boxer, k?

  • ok i stand corrected i guess

  • Good point. I think it gained popularity because of Bruce Lee, but even Bruce Lee moved away from wing chun and gravitated more towards boxing because he realized his wing chun was not that practical

  • No, do some Research. He broke away from Wing chun becuase It was his Dream to one day make his own Martial art

  • He didn't like the fixed positions in wing chun, and he found them to be not so useful in actual combat. Hence, in the tao of jeet kune do, you see Bruce emphasize boxing strategies as a means for effective attack and defense, not wing chun.

  • Bruce lee learned other martial arts, because his sifu yip man did't want to train him after he went to USA. Bruce never learned the higher forms. And two years of Wing Tsun training is not enough to be a Kung Fu master or in any martial art. But Bruce Lee is a legend and wrote many books about the human body and effective training, and so he gained so much speed and power. & boxer do not kick, use elbows or any other body parts... they only fight with fists, what I think is a big disadvantage.

  • Ive done Muay Thai for 3 years and wing chun for 2 years...and i use wing chun....i have fought three Muay Thai Professionals and 2 boxers using wing chun.....and guess what

i only lost one fight to one of the Muay Thai guys......WIng Chun is very effective if you understand it....like the guy in this video

  • But you winning the fight doesnt give wing chun credibility, it could mean that the muay thai guy that you fought was not as well trained as you are. Regarding your response to my earlier comment, Bruce Lee's dream was to be the world's greatest martial artist. It was because of his pursuit of that dream that led him to create Jeet Kune Do. He found some flaws in wing chun and modified the stance to a more jeet kune do lead stance.

  • The flaw was he never finished wing chun. There are 3 systems in wing chun he only learned the 1st before he left. Yip Man senior students always asked him why did he care so much about bruce he can't fight.

Bruce left before he finished the system thats why he didn't like it. Also He became famous for winning every fight with only the 1st system and 90% of Jeet Kune Do is the 1st system of wing chun and 10% of other stuff he found that worked.

  • thats true he only ever got to chum kiu, mind u he was bloody good still

  • No doubt he natural talent. The problem is Bruce Lee was a natural. Jeet Kune Do has never worked for anyone but Bruce who else has used JKD to reach what bruce did. It wasn't the style it was Bruce.

  • Yeah, that's one of the reason you hear about JJ blue belts beating up "Practicianer" level Wing Tsun "fighters"

  • Well I heared that Emin Botztepe won a fight against the guy which was called the best fighter of the World by bruce Lee. and i doubt that you really heared bluebelts won a fight against a practician

  • Any point that involves Bruce Lee, as a rule of thumb, fails.

  • hmmm... nothing ju-jutsu doens't have, but we can controll people without beating them down. and bring them down without going AGAINST their moving direction...

  • I think thats the stupidest thing you could put on a wing chun video. The whole concept of wing chun is to not fight force with force. Juijitsu extends from wing chuns principals and emphasises the ground as your "home". Thats the only difference. Know your facts before you speak.

  • Hmmm..."realistic"? Defending against an axe kick?

And the sparring wasn't sparring. Some good stuff in there though.

  • the best fighter in the world!!

  • Sifu Victor is awesome.
