Of course anything is a weapon when used with intent, I can use my Yugo or my 18 wheeler to mowdown a busstop full of people while everyone else uses them legally. hard to regulate defective human behavior. Better to eliminate it I say. A little deterent with massive response and harsh consequences would do wonders in my books.
Ironic to read the comments on the Norwegian being happy for his 18 round clip, now in the aftermath of the Oslo killings. I guess we all know now why the state officials want to keep the clips as small as commercially possible... Some things are learned the hard way - and because terrible wrongdoings!
basically removed the hammer I believe and replace triger to single action. Very nice. Cost about 125 and shipping was 35 each way with insurance where are you located
They think that by restricting size of Magazines they show they are doing what will reduce crime, any item can be a weapon, if people snap they could care less about legistaleted rule, they are out to hurt others and could care less. You can not legislate human nature, all you can do is thin the herd when they get out of control. I would rather have 15 percent of the population armd than to wait 45 minutes for the police to come pick up the pieces.
The term 9 x 19 I would think is the metric equivalent of a 9mm diameter projectile and a 19 mm long case. It is the standard designation for a 9mm luger. This does not refer to magazine capacity. It ranges from 15 to 18 in many parts of the world and 10 in Canada and some US states

10 rounds mag? Is the capacity reduced, in your country? My Shadow has got 16 round mag. Also 18 rounds mag exist for that model, but in Italy they are not allowed.
Welcome to the wonderful world of low capacity magazines and even lower capacity politicians. Low capacity mags don't keep idiots from killing people they just learn how to change mags faster or use illegal ones. If your caught with a high capacity mag in Canada the maximum penalty is 5 years in jail and up to 10,000 fine.
That is more tha the average child molester or bank robber gets here.
Maybe politicians think that 10 rounds are less lethal than 10... Before introducing restrictions, they should know at least what they are talking about.
