gotta agree. Is the english twit commenting throughout the actual DVDs? The rare footage is incredible, but the twit would ruin the whole thing if he interrupts these performances.
Somehow I get a kick outta seeing those Brits sitting there in the audience all decked out in tight skirts and coats and ties and clap, clap, clap..... Can you imagine when Earl Hooker grabs his guitar and starts chewing the friggin strings with his teeth or his tongue, that those polite Brits just sat there and didn't go haywire????? [* to see this: utube = fqYHbuustug] Perhaps Earl and Magic Sam performed some other night. But we know Big Mama Thorton was there.......
Hi Have just come across this vid -takes me back to when I went to see these guys in Bristol 62/63? and have never forgotten it. I've been on and off playing and listening to blues ever since. I count myself really lucky to have met some of them backstage and still have their autographs. Willie Dixon and Sonny Boy still hang on my wall! Thanks for posting!

America was asleep at the wheel, in denial while the Limey's studied this music. Hence, the British Invasion. Gotta love the Brits!
