The chinese swimmer said she had no rivals!!!but Tao proved her wrong!!!The chinese swimmer boasted but she only got 4th place without any medal!serves her right!!!
You still don't get the point, Tao Li is not at liberty to behave like a finger-pointing-gangster in front of the camera when she is representing the nation of Singapore. No swimmers of any countries in the 16th Asian Games behaves like that. Her EQ is minus zero.
That taunt spoils everything. She adapt well to singapore's culture and with the "fierce" gangsters around now. She fits into the picture. Haha!! Disgusteddddd
That finger pointing gesture is rude, arrogant and disgusting. A true champion must not behave that way. Pride always come before a fall. She has a lot to learn from the mighty Chinese as far as humility is concerned.
@chenzlin That Chinese swimmer didn't even show humility when she boasted that she has no rivals. If you see humility in that I would like you to point it out. Sure, the swimmers from China are good, but to boast that they have no rivals? That's called arrogance.
Tao Li indeed can justly be proud of her achievement, no body can deny that. But it is folly to point finger at the camera for 1 billion Chinese to see. She looks more like a gangster than a newly crowned champion! I am worried if the Singapore Sports School would continue to churn out gangster-style finger pointing 'champion' in the future.
[Ref :yr video was edited/shortened] Sorry, my daughter asked me lastnight after the ceremony which was shown 'live' to the world. Is our National anthem " Majulah Singapura " so difficult to sing .I replied that this lucky lady is from China. Am i wrong ? (Ironically, she could speakEnglish fluently on TV ) To TL and many others alike pls sing proudly/confidently in/out Singapore, if not pls"do not win any Cold medal" for the people of Singapore.[How about singing " Money-lah Singapore "
Please. Tao Li has sung the national anthem so many times when standing on top of the podium. Sorry she offended you if she didnt sing this one time, and let me remind you, if you watch enough sports, not all athletes always sing the anthem. I have seen our Singapore-born athletes keep their mouths shut before as well. What gives? Should they also sing "Money-lah Singapore"? Why not you win an Asian games gold medal instead? then we'll be able to witness your amazing singing ability
