So the axis is -3/4

Plug -3/4 into the original equation y = 2x² + 3x + 4

y = 2(-3/4)² + 3(-3/4) + 4

Solve it and you should get 23/8 or 2.875

Solution:

Axis: -3/4

Vertex: ( -3/4 , 23/8 )

To get Y, you have to plug in the value you got from negative b over 2XA then solve.

To get the x intercepts factorize a^2 + bx + c and if factorizing is not possible use this formula : -b± make a square root house and inside the house put b^2 -(4)(a)(c) / <--(divided) 2(a) after that you will have a result with ± witch means one is positive and the other is negative.
