You can check the hmba dot org web site and go to the message forums - look for the Town Run link on the trail info page.

To attempt to answer your question, they are working on it. As recently as this week there has been activity with the "Jump Park" entrance. I have no idea when it will be open.

I don't know if you will be able to answer this but how much experience would you recommend having before attempting the jump park entrance?

A lot, especially since very little of it is finished. I heard a rumor that the big drop was going to be "tamed" a bit. That would make it a good bit less disaster prone. Who knows. I guess it doesn't matter right now since its like 5 degrees out. ;)

they're done with it now...haha but they still have it roped off.....me and my friends have gone down it a few times now...its a bit crazy but way less crazy after you do it once or twice

I Love that trail, i ride it at least once a week. I just wish they had some more tech stuff, and that they finish the huge sky bridge and the beginning

nice man! is there anyway you can tape the entire trail. it would be sweet to have the section after you go under the interstate bridge for the second time. sweet vid!!!!

Yeah, I did video a full lap during that outing. I just posted that clip since my friend Paul (in front of me) was interested in seeing it.

I plan on chasin some friends of mine for a full lap, then posting three videos with a third of a lap each. (1) from the start out to I-465 (2) I-465, out through the back field, returning to I-465 (3) I-465 back to the finish.

Yesterday (8/2) after work I built my mail-order bike (Forge 5xx) and strapped on my mail-order helmet and rode TR for the first time (or anything, for that matter). Freaking tough for a noob. From what I hear, guys are running it almost 20 minutes faster than I did at 46:00.
