  • we dont look at the political nature of the healthcare it could be communist lol. we live life and realise at times you need and you should not worry if you can pay you pay a little tax towards it from pay slip but not much for piece of mind thanks for an american point of view come to england well do your blood work

  • "it's not about money... it's a human right.."

The problem with this thinking is that true rights are free. They cost no one any money at all. If something costs $, it's not a right.

Money literally is part of our lives we choose to give up to EARN that money. And when some expect others to PAY for false rights like health care for those who have NOT EARNED or budgeted enough for their own care, that is by definition tyranny, slavery. That's what the UK has.

Health care is not a right.

  • i'll fill you cavities..no wait you heffer ,that i won't drill like black and decker

  • Thanks for your insight, My hubby's insurance deductible was so outrageous we decided to drop the kids off the insurance and put them on government ran insurance because it was too expensive. Plus the insurance would just refuse payment on medical service for any reason from you didn't take this questionnaire to we think your homeowner's insurance should pay for you injured knee because you fell at home. So I know how hard it can be dealing with rich insurance companies. we need human rights.

  • That is interesting, I thought the govt ran program has not come into effect yet. Hope everything works out for you.

  • My god your.....your gggorgeous.

  • I am an American. I have paid for my own "single payer" health insurance since I was 20 years old (I am 55 now). A good part of my life I was broke from the cost. At one point my premiums had risen to $800.00 per "month"....thats over $9000 a year just for me, one person, not a family. I have estimated that (with interest) I have paid over a half "million" dollars in insurance premiums. Even with insurance there is usually a yearly deductable before it actually pays for anything.

  • yep, the NHS sees people, the HMOs see dollar signs

  • Yeah your right, in the UK we have free health care until the age of 19, and prescriptions are real cheap and we don't have any medical bills.

I think this should be she same for America aswel. Because what makes us so different? You should all have the same treatment :)

  • "You had to buy contacts"... Ummm, no you made a CHOICE to buy contacts. In this video you are wearing glasses and you look fine, so you made a choice to spend $100 on contacts. Goods and services aren't free, someone pays for them, whether it be the end-user or the government (taxpayers), someone pays for them. There's no such thing as a free lunch.

  • nice one... But what do you say about the fact that I in Germany buy contacts for about 20-30 dollars a month? (and I pay them, no one else.) Weird, isnt it? Cuz I wouldnt believe that the us production of contacts is so much more expensive, nor do I think urs are better in any way...

capitalism wants profit, nothing more. if u have a monopol, you make the price. its as simple as that!

  • FYI...no one in the contact lens business has a monopoly. Macro-speaking, capitalism and monopolies are incompatible. That's why the Sherman Anti-Trust act was concocted in the early 20th century.

Sane, rational people know that more control and more power given to the government leads to nothing but trouble.

  • The problem here is, what is gouvernmental power? Who controls the gouvernment? I would not believe the people, otherwise America's children would not live under such bad conditions... Few people have the power to control democracy; the mass' hands are bound... So it can be said: Economy controls a state!

  • Yeah, weird that tax dollars subsidize all those medical goods and services you get cheaper there in Germany... Weird that you are paying for those things whether you use them or not... Assuming you are a contributor to society, i.e. working and paying taxes.

  • Everyone should have health care. The ones who don't want it for others are selfish. Just because people work hard doesn't mean they will get health care, it 's no guarantee. Yet you will hear others who are against it say " I don't want to pay for somebody else's health care"

Let's IMPROVE this country, let's IMPROVE the way we do things, let's not be selfish. We all need health care, it's the right thing to do.

  • I'm torn on this issue. On the one hand, I know that socialized medicine is a nightmare, in spite of what the fat ass Michael Moore depicts in his film, and on the other hand, I hate every doctor that I've ever met. Socialized medicine would mean a pay decrease for them, which would be awsome. Sure, the quality of health care will decline, but who cares? Let the strong survive. Also, it may make the idea of dating a lawyer even more attractive. Lawyers rule.

  • Most people in the states have never experienced living in a nation where socialized medicine is the norm...hence the fear and distrust of it.

I've been in the UK for about six years now. I've got my doctor here, I've had the occasional consultation with specialists, had my eyes tested and my teeth cleaned every six months.

It's really not so different from the states, except prescriptions are cheap and no medical bills.

  • "Most people in the states have never experienced living in a nation where socialized medicine is the norm...hence the fear and distrust of it." I totally agree, and when I learned about Socialism in regards to healthcare and work/life balance with family planning, etc being generous and available in return for simply paying a higher percentage of taxes, I thought it sounded like a better system. It was 1992. I was 21, A+health, single and no kids...I wasnt jaded. A healthy nation is a better 1

  • i am from India ,we don't have health benefits either.but the doctors fee is very less its less than 1 dollar. medical bill is also quite cheap.

  • USA is such a joke. It's full of bible punching loudmouths going on about God and Jesus, yet these same hypocrites oppose a universal healthcare service because it's going to cost them a little more in taxes. Christ said "Am I not my brother's keeper", and "It's easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven". How do they equate their pious hypocritical greed with this?

  • Why are you fuckers so sick anyway. Exercise and eat healthy and you won't need healthcare you stupid cunt.

  • to noJusticeInThisWorld: you must be very young to say that..."why are you fuckers so sick anyway". You will find out as you age all kinds of problems crop up that really are not preventable....eye problems, hearing problems, back problems, hip problems, prostate enlargement....I could go on for pages with geriatric illnesses. Once you are over 50 years old all the shit can start to hit the fan (medically speaking) Ahhh the arrogance of youth

  • Went to the dentist yesterday. $140 bucks for a cavity to be filled. That's not unbearable in the least. It's not like we have to get something done every week. You seem surprised that things have costs! The costs are just hidden from you when you have insurance or socialized medicine....

  • "I" seem surprised things have cost? did you message the right person? Did you see my post where I said that I have paid "one half million" in health insurance since I was 20 years old.....believe me,after paying all that...I am not surprised at all.

  • actually no sorry, it wasn't to you inkey2... i'm just a noob and/or the reply didn't go to the right place.... it was to this video. she seems like a nice girl (saw some of her other videos and thought she was very kind hearted), i just disagreed with the premise that it's not about money in England... tell that to the ones denied specific procedures because of the cost to the state. insurance comp's do the same, so why exactly are we excited to trade one for the other? govt. monopoly=bad

  • try waiting 2 years for an operation that may or may not help you. well just have to see. the doctor says we are really hoping that this operation solves the problem, if not we are going to have to try something else. too bad you have to wait 2 years just for the first operation. hahahahaha WELCOME TO CANADA!

  • how bout i just tell the doc ill kill myself now and save you and the other patients the time. WLECOME TO CANADA! yes i am canadian.

they dont tell you to wait 3 months thalaka they tell you to wait 3 years sometimes.

  • you have to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks. AT LEAST! before you get to go back to tell the doctor that not only are the drugs that he put you on not working but they have made you worse and could you please go off of them. he tells you yes, and lets try this other medicine.. ill see you in a month he says. you call a week later to tell the doctor that the meds are making you suicidal and he schedules you for another appointment, 3 to 4 weeks later.

  • OBAMA 08!

  • It's sounds like a great idea - "Hey why not just get the govt. to insure everyone!" but its not that simple. In Canada, they tell you to wait 3 months for planned surgery or goto the U.S. to get it just because its so backed up over there. And seeing as how were having huge problms with Medicaid and Social Security, I really dont think this country needs another project to add to its every increasing internal debt.

  • Marlaine, I don't want to pay for other people to get care which is essentially what we'll be doing if this is implemented. On the contrary, it is about money and $250 billion will be needed to fund this plan. They've tried this in Europe and Canada and there starting to see its not everything its cracked up to be. I agree though that HC needs reform. Malpractice awards of $50M when they should be $ 5M cause doctors to overcharge the insurance companies thus driving up everyone's rates.

  • I am and American living in Europe and the heath system is way way way way better than in the States. When I have experiences both at first hand, I can definately tell you the truth, and that is, America needs to have a major reform.

  • I love it when people whine about others supposedly whining about Healthcare.

Yet the outcry isn't there when the government wastes money and is robbing the American people by bailing out Financial institutions and giving money out to Power companies and old cronies like the current administration is but when the people want and deserve something it's us asking for something..

I'd call that our tax money at work for us. I know it's hard to understand but try a little.

  • i expect good public schools for children to attend... why is it so impossible for you to see something as basic as healthcare to be available to everyone as well?

you call it whining, i call it taking a stand.

  • GREAT point. I think it's funny how every time one tries to take a stand on something screwed up in this country, the conservatives say that they're whining. I guess the people in need and/or the people who CARE about the people in need should just keep their mouths shut so we dont annoy people who have always and will always be taken care of...right?? I'm broke now...but I'm in a good school, and someday when I make plenty of $, I'll be happy to pay taxes as long as they go towards some good

  • Quit whining unless your disabled.

Why do you think people owe you stuff?

People in Canada with free health care come to USA for medical care because they can't stand to wait in the long lines for surgeries and free treatments in their own country.

So your back in England and if your working, your paying for health insurance with your taxes instead of writing a check each month. If that makes you feel better to have it deducted before you see it then fine, but your still paying.

    UbuntoO

  • You must understand that NOTHING is free! NOTHING.... The government can only GIVE you things that they TAKE FROM OTHER PEOPLE. (We call that STEALING)

Grow up and take care of yourself.

  • I'm back living in the UK. Taxes are higher here, but I can also sleep at night knowing that if anything happened to somebody I love, or even myself, that they would be taken care of. I don't think you can put a price on that! Although pharmaceutical companies in America would like to.

  • STOP CRYING!!! OMG take respsonsabilty for your own life. I did, i cover my wife my self and my child with my own heath care. It's called a budget! Live within your means!

  • No kidding. The only social program I want is a class in mathematics for the clueless. These people want something for nothing.

Either you pay the insurance like you do in the US or we can borrow UK's imaginary free health care system with a 40% income tax tacked on the middle class and up. It's even worse in more government subsidized countries.

Either way you're paying for it, so quit whining about it.

  • Eight years ago -- my 34 year old son Mikie died of colon cancer- no insurance and no way to pay for the drugs that could have made his passing more bearable.

Today -- my 45 year old daughter Dee Dee is battling late stage ovarian cancer- no insurance and no way to pay for the drugs that allow her days to be bearable.

Please watch my You Tube video "Spoiling for a fight? Show me what you got!" Please give me a minute and if you think the video is worthy - tell others. Thanks!

  • The rest of the world is messed up that's why America happened. I don't want to be like any other country. Government should have VERY LITTLE to do with your life. The way to solve the problem is increase the supply. This is hard to do with a corporate lawyer run government. Remember America was started by small business men who didn't want the government messing with there lives. Liberty first! NO UHC.

  • The problem in the US is the gov. had a protectionist stance by safeguarding large corporations. Either by subsidizing research, reducing taxes, promoting oligopolies etc.

Your phone companies are a perfect example of this. Now that the gov. deregulated it, there is a huge supply of providers thereby reducing the cost. Cable companies are coming around. It's too late for the US car industry which got away with selling overpriced big hunks of junk because the gov protected them for so long.

  • I think peoples' comments on here are ridiculous. Health plans are screwing so many people over because they don't cover what they should, and it isn't fair because people are people and we all need help and care if and when we get sick.

    Great vid ;)

  • thank you. i agree.

  • You are supporting an idea which requires the initiation of force agains millions of americans for what you think is the "greater good". Sad, really sad.

  • By universal healthcare they mean MANDATORY healthcare including mandatory mental examinations and mandatory medication.

  • yeah, that sucks! i really thik it sux for people who are sick and can't pay for an operation, and the doctors don't do shit! they just let your ass die! i hear health insurance is better in canada, thouhg.

  • Everyone here has healthcare too. Hospitals cannot turn you away without treatment. Ever. For any reason. Use the ER as a doctor's office. I used to do that while I was struggling for a few years, and when I got back on my feet, MedicAid turned $90,000+ in outstanding bills into $1,850.

  • Yeah, because everyone can afford 1850 out of pocket.

  • Of course, if everyone has to use the ER as a doctor's office, the overall state of our health care system declines because real emergencies will take longer to deal with. The best thing the US system as going for it is its emergency care. Being healthy requires check ups, not just going to the doctor when you have the money, or for emergencies. The sad thing is that our system costs more money than many, and we get less over all. Sorry to reply to an old comment... missed it the first time!

  • read the whole thing and you find out it is just politics. The 90 is misleading, 12 already testified, 21 lived in other countries, 11 are convicted or cooperating with dept. of Justice. After investigation Clinton cleared of any wrong doing.

  • how do rich people get rich? maybe you don't realize that we(most Americans) make them rich. so in reality they have been "stealing" from us. I don't find too much difference in Rep. or Dems. they pretty much cater to corporations instead of us.

You seem to have a proccupation with death, whats wrong?

  • lisabob, Common ground for us is I don't like the Rep or Dem parties either, but not for the same reasons. Question for you: What alternative to capitalism and corporations are you proposing is better? Socialism? Communism?

  • If a person really wants to understand this, all they have to do is look at Venezuela and Hugo Chavez. What you describe is exactly what happened there. He promised all sorts of giveaways. The people voted him in, he eliminates term limits, eliminates opposition media, confiscates private property and brings in communism. Most liberals in our country seem to love Hugo Chavez, by the way.

  • "Most liberals in our country seem to love Hugo Chavez, by the way." I could say the same thing about you "1990notch loves Hugo Chavez" and it is just as true as your statement

  • I'm sure that sounds convincing to someone who doesn't know anything about US government. Without congressional and state support, the president can't do most of the things you think he can.

  • "not very responsible jackass"

    what is a responsible jackass?

Why do you worry so much about my family? You keep mentioning them. You don't have to worry about my family I take care of them. Whether you care or not is not issue is it? I wonder what other names you can call me?

  • I really don't think my family dying has anything to do with issue. I realize that having poor healthcare system affects everybody, & I want to make it better. Making society better helps eveybody, everybody benefits, even somebody like you

  • I already pay for our health insurance, And it isn't free. It will never be free. We have a Democracy and what we decide is what we'll have, so get ready to fork out more money for others because universal healthcare is coming!!

  • do you like making Insurance and drug companies billions of dollars in profit every year? We all pay for the uninsured people who use emergency rooms as their primary caregivers. Besides if enough people want it we are going to have universal healthcare and you will pay for my kids, and all those others kids too. SO you might get use to the idea cause it is coming

  • I do buy my own insurance, plus the insurance for my wife & 5 kids. I really don't like contributing to insurance companies profits by using a stupid system, do you?

  • why do you want to make Insurance & drug companies rich? we can all pay less for healthcare if we are smart about it. why be stupid and pay huge amount for healthcare if we don't have to? We are a Democracy not a corporation, Goverment by the People for the People and majority of people want universal healthcare, why woudn't they? it is stupid not to

  • Wake up. We are a REPUBLIC, NOT a democracy. We are dedicated to "IN GOD WE TRUST". It's on all our currency. Here in America, they have made MONEY our God. But, in reality, God is LOVE. That's what they believe in rest of Western World!

  • we have socialized police, fire dept, & schools. Eventually people will realized that all services are better run at per cost instead of for profit.

There is power in large numbers, you lose that power when you split the numbers. we are a democratic republic. just a type of democracy.

  • For-profit metality has made the OIL and energy industry the KAIJU-esque monstrosity it is today, and we have the big pollution and economic and health costs to show for it. Had electrics been promoted and developed, total difference. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. For profit system is INHERENTLY lopsided and corrupt and anti-common man, or have we learned nothing from history?

  • I agree 100% I am curious have you ever wondered what happens when robots can replace most human workers? what will corporations do? Corp. already show disregard of masses already even though they need the masses.

  • Right. They dont hesitate to send jobs overseas if it makes them more money. Corporations are in the business of making MONEY, NOT providing jobs for people!

  • maybe they don't realize that sooner or later that shortsighted focus on profit will hurt them, when people can't buy their products

  • Right, lisabob22! I have degreees in Information Technology. I was encouraged to get an education in that field, because of anticipated huge demand! Now they are all in India, or Russian-Republics! And, the most important thing, poor people, or people who have lost all hope, and lost their dreams, are EASIER TO CONTROL.

  • So the Republican-party mebntality is of course their constituency, the UBER-rich, the corporation-CEOs, and Oiul-Barons. GOP is dedicated to destruction of the middle class. The recent passage of the Patriot act supports that hypothesis. Our freedoms as americans are being curtailed in the name of National-Security. See a pattern emerging. When everyone is poor, the Right-wing will have won. Fight back people.

  • Such hostility! Have you tried ANGER MANAGEMENT classes? Remember, LOVE is the answer, for EARTH-HUMANITY. Peace, my Earth-brother. Be well.

  • Eat me. :)

  • illll

  • Welcome to the real world you Bimbo! If you want something go out and work for it instead of waiting for a handout because you are to sorry to take care of your own worthless ass!

  • ..... (like when electronics products merely cover a feature and drop the price 30% - yet its the same product! Supply side economics is ridiculous (except to private enterprise)

  • yes i realise its more than just the 10 cents worth of plastic - i was over-simplifying for the sake of concision - but if they can sell disposable contacts for a few dollars each - why the $100 price on permanents? (The technolgy, material, production costs are the same - it's just a matter of price rigging on an artificially differentiated product.....

  • Thanks for sharing this information with us!

    Macs777

PS: Visit my page when you'll have a second...

  • Ignorant

  • 1 star for theone thing im going to say...Proactive

  • the contact lens example is a god one to illustrate out privatization actually facilitates price rigging, as opposed to "efffciency of competition" pseudo-science bullshit the right wing continually spouts. They charge $100 for 10 cents worth of plastic! A national public universal health provider could provide them to everyone who needs them for maybe $10. Privatization is a capitalist SCAM to siphon money from the public into private (rich people's) pockets.

  • Ignorance. Behind that 10 cents worth of plastic is millions of dollars worth of machinery and hundreds or thousands of workers who wish to get paid for their work so they can have food, housing, etc. The contacts are not made by some guy in his garage. mallamoozoo, I looked at your racing video. Fast car. How much do you think the pistons in that car should cost? After all, they're just $40 worth of aluminum, and yet they cost thousands. Socialism never works but it does brainwash.

  • How do you know, Did you experience it? So you do prefer to pay for overpriced things. You do like to others take your money away.

  • Who's being clever? Where's the real brainwash here? You only see one way out and it's paying and paying! That's the real brainwash! To make you give your money into their pockets.

  • "SIGH, like, I can't believe I have to pay money for contacts. The companies that make them should, like, just give them away for free 'cause they're made by, like, elves, right? And elves don't need to be paid a living wage, right? And, like, aren't contacts made with magical plastic that falls from the sky for free anyway?! I shouldn't have to pay for anything!" LOL!

  • So maybe the optimum balance of the dilemma is a mix of public and private - with public consequently of lower quality, but as long as it maintains a certain standard that provides a genuine safety net, I suppose that is the best mix.

  • Because

    1) the correlation between lifestyle and health consequences is not 100% - ie. though your risk is reduced by healthy lifestyle, you may still get ill. (And then there's accidents - effectively random).

    2) A lot of unhealthy lifestyle is largely poverty based anyway (eg smoking and drinking is a poor mans entertainment and/or medication). So to some extent, initial health is itself a consequence of wealth, so holding it against the victim is victimization.

  • Having thought about it - I think the priority has to be on avoiding wealth discrimination in health care, above the risk of over-socializing (sharing) cost.

  • We deserve universal healthcare, I'm totally willing to pay higher taxes come on everyone!

  • I'm not. I don't want to shell out money so some fat assed lard bucket who doesn't do anything besides take up extra room can continue to drain my pocket book and the pocket books of others.

  • That's a good point i must admit - perhaps those who have steadfastly guarded their health should not have an equal tax liability to fund a public health system as those who have willfully neglected their health.

  • But equally, discrimination in health services based on wealth is equally unethical. So how to best balance this dilemma?

  • There is no such thing as a free lunch or free health care. Slowly but surely our country is being brainwashed with the promises of a paradise if we just accept socialism. Since they can't get it done all at once, they'll try it incrementally. This decade health care, next decade free housing. The young are too busy watching MTV to figure out what's happening until it's too late to turn back. How sad a future we face as a nation of morons.

  • Message to the poster of this video: Kill your TV, it's making you stupid.

  • My appendix actually ruptured and I was kept in an extra day or two on a/b's. And I've already got a drag racing video on my page where you can here the aussie acccent being spoken)

  • And further, total required funding is less here as we don't have extreme litigation fears and corresponding insurance blowouts - a situation fostered by corporate and legal interests for their own benefit at the expense of the people paying - just a scam to siphon even more money out of the public's pockets into private hands! (ie. capitalism)

  • hahaha. hahahaha.

Do you remember getting your driver's license? Like how it took 3 hours of wrestling with incompetent lazy government employees?

You're telling me this is how you want the healthcare system? ha ha ha ha.

  • I want the government in control of absolutely the least amount of institutions possible.

  • There is a free ride it's called welfare ,hell all the illegals do it.

  • And they were about to get amnesty. The audacity of the government to do such a thing. It needs to end. When will Americans get tired of having dual languages because an entire portion of the country doesn't speak the majority language?

  • I'm all for another civil war ,we can either clean house,or divide the country up..either way works for me. I don't want this stupid bitch with me that is for sure.

  • GET OFF THE TWINKIES!

  • um...bla bla bla

  • ugly

  • yeah, england = cost of living high.... health care.

America = sinfully cheap living.... nein health care.

    get with it mate.

  • Trade-offs sweetheart, trade-offs. It's not a right.

Human? Humanity? These are your reasons.

Sounds like you're just growing up and not living off your parents. Welcome to the world where you can't just substitute socialized medicine for your parents.

  • Hah yes you are ignorant, Everything isnt free. Centralized medecine is a joke. Id rather not take a trip to the hospital and have it be like the DMV.

  • Hun, you're in your 20's and are just now finding out htat there is no such thing as a free lunch? The school system and your parents have failed you. As for as England, I've worked with the limeys and they brag about their 'free' health care in one breath and bitch about the astronomical taxes in the other. Look at the poor service our Veterans get...it's 'free', and in a lot of cases they are not even getting their moneys worth.

  • 0.o wtf?

  • EVERYONE: I've written letters to all my congressmen requesting a one payer system for health care in the USA, and I haven't even lived in the country for four years. You must take action now. Walking out of Sicko and hoping that you'll have better health care isn't good enough, nor is waiting for the next election.

  • If you had "free" health care in your home country, then great!! Nothing is stopping you from going back home. Instead you expect all the working people of this country to pay for your medical bills.

  • I'd be paying for theirs as well, and gladly, just like I pay for their police and fire department.

  • That is different. Police provide security and stability in an otherwise rather chaotic world.

Health care is not like the police or fire department. You just don't get it. When you break your leg and are sent home with neosporin and a band-aid, then maybe you'll understand...

  • I live in the UK. Health Care here if NOT FREE! We pay a thing called NATIONAL INSURANCE on top of our TAX. We have NO CHOICE about how much we pay. The American system is much better because you can choose how much you pay and overall it is cheaper in America. Also the quality of service in America is much higher compared to the UK.

  • you are sill ignorant you socialist bitch. Get a fucking job. Go to Canada and see how much care you get and how fast you get it.Wow,!@!! young people are really dumb.

  • Why do I have to pay for food, lodging, clothes, or anything else. If health care is a human right then I shouldn't be forced to work just to buy food to eat, clothes to keep me warm and housing to keep the rain or snow off my body. How about micheal moore and everyone who is for free (tax payer funded) health care just give away their goods and services and I use the money I save to pay for health care.

  • Nothing has changed, your still ignorant.

  • dgsfdhb rytsdfgfd bnhytrm

  • If you think medicine is bad in the U.S., go your whiney lttle ass to Canada and wait 6 months to see a doctor!!!

  • I was in a car accident transported to the hospital which was 3 miles away and the bill was $7,000 plus the ambulance ride which was an additional $880. and I keep getting bills for this and that when does it end.

  • america is the best

  • i understand.. ur country suxxxxxx!!!!

    come to sweden!

  • I think its appropriate to want to education yourself about American and to ask questions...

So STFU and stop the name calling.

I honestly don't think people realize that we are the voice of the nation..and if things are fucked up.. WE have to fix it.

So Unite and stop with the negativity.

  • uh no its fun and amuzing no honestly ppl quit the fuckin violance already its only appropiate if the other person starts it but nobody cares so like thats ever gunna happen right

  • Healthcare a human right? And I guess as a tax payer it is my duty to pay for your healthcare? Grow up. Nothing is free. Countries that provide "free" healthcare have a much higher tax rate. How much is gas in London or Norway? ($9 in Norway). No thanks, keep your "free" stuff.

  • these videos should be renamed stupid people in America

  • What a Bimbo! Fat,ugly, and stupid to boot!

  • The problem is health care costs and insurance premiums skyrocketing out of control.

Not if we should have socialized medical care in the states.

My health insurance premium rises 20%/year. Why?

A surgery I had that cost $15000 5 years ago, cost $35,000 2 years ago. Why?

Answer the why's and you fix the problem. That issue is not being addressed.

  • Some would say greed is simply the cause of this. I would say greed is, but not only where you would think like the doctors, the HMO, etc. A lot of the rise in cost is due to malpractice lawsuits, lawsuits against the drug companies, or any company or person that has anything to do with a person who thinks they have received bad care. The lawyers of coarse are making a killing in this sort of thing, encouraging a lawsuit for anything and everything.

  • Hey idiot, did you pay taxes on your income when you lived in England? Did you try to buy a house there or a car? You started off by listing things you didn't know when you were younger; I can see that nothing has changed as you've grown older. You still don't have any idea. Also, you didn't "have" to buy contacts idiot; under a socialist system you won't get contacts because that is a luxury item.

  • SHOW ME IN THE CONSTITUTION WHERE IT SAYS HEALTHCARE IS A RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumb fucks. You dont like it here go beack to fucking england and wait in line for months to see a doctor!I am sick of my tax's paying for all you fucking lazy peices of shit.

  • You dumb ass lasy shit! Your probably some mediocre beer bellied looser that can't think of anything but yourself! The only difference between democrats and republicans is a functional frontal lobe. Ya dumb monkey!!!!!!!! go back to the jungle!!!

  • To the people who disagree with this clip...Watch sicko and then say our health care system is fine! Why do stupid middle class americans get so riled up and say it's about taxing the rich?! Did the rich mine the coal? Did the rich sweat all day building houses? Did they do anything that wasn't positioning themselves in power to take the lion's share for something they didn't do? That's all they do is wheel and deal and scam and cut health care and pensions.

  • It's a very simple question: Where in the constitution does it say you have the right to Government provided healthcare? Also, do you really believe the democrat politicians send their own children to public school? Of coarse they don't, since they know public education can never compete with private. Same thing with health care, public will never match private for quality of service, innovative drugs, etc. I'm sure Cuba has free health care, housing, food, etc. Care to go live there?

  • I keep hearing there is a health care crisis in this country but that is false. Anyone can go to any doctor and purchase the care they need. It might be expensive but it is there and when you walk in they treat you like a customer or something. I don't have health care but I don't need it so I shouldn't have to pay for it.

  • yes it shows that you are and idiot who lives in his little american cocoon, best country in world????? oh please some body hand me sick bag, this show you are very selfish person, no wonder you are fat coz you eat all the food in the house , you dont like sharing, hah best country in the world my ass

  • Thank God and the baby Jesus for CAPITALISM and the FREE MARKET of this, THE GREATEST NATION on earth. WE AMERIKANS are chosen by GOD and so is our health care system. Anyone who criticizes it is a commiepinkohomo LIBERAL scumbag. Down with all LIBERAL humanist weaklings...arrrgh....grrr...we CONSERVATIVE SUPERIOR STRONG AMERIKANS fart in your general direction. HA HA HA... long live RUSH LIMBAUGH.

  • So my question is how long are the lines for the doctor in England? Never been. Respond to my profile I probably will not recheck this site. But I want to know.

  • trust me, you do NOT want socialized medicine in this country. I'd like to see michael more go to cuba for his own health care, say, heart surgery...

  • Join the Army and you'll have free health care. More worthless bed wetting liberals sitting on their sorry ass waiting for someone else to pay for their lazy pathetic lifestyle!

  • Damn straight. Survival of the fitest. Darwin rules! And while your finishing of those weak whining liberals how about doing away with those Christian creationist brick brains.

  • Do a search for "2008 Elections Already Rigged" on Digg dot com.

There's something ALL voters should know about.

  • in england you only have to wait six months to see a dentist! well, it's better than cuba.

  • wow very pretty sexy latina lady in this video..very pretty lady

  • fat, very fat.

  • Listen what she is saying Moran the same in Iran. their health care system is free for everyone all these taxes that we give goes to where? to Iraq? politicians. stand up for your rights. i guess if one is slim can do anything to you you listen to it... cuz she orhe is handsome or pretty you even eat its $hit! the US health care sux a hug donkey di..

  • health care and insurance doesn't matter until you get sick. 5 stars.

  • simply put. i like it.

  • how about u answer back to my comment, unless you already are conceited.

  • forget health care - what about rent? Shelter is basic need more than health care (as without it youre gonna get sick pretty quick). Why doesn't the government pay everyone's rent. Then the homeless would not exist and everyone renting could save some money to buy their own house! Simple isn't tit?

  • In many countries they actually do that if you can't afford it yourself. So that you can get back on your feet and be a productive member of society.

  • That will be the next Michael Moron movie. Free "House Care".

  • hey marlaine, i didnt watch your video neither the one of the other girl, but i saw you want to get slim and post videos of it on YT, well wat i wanna say is that i dont think u need to get any thinner, ur FINE like that, plz stay like that, i'd totaly go out w/ u, at least if ur also a nice girl, but aparantly u seem to be one. mouaaah cutie :-) ( im 6'1 180 pds built up muscles, good looking italian, hazel eyes, dark brown hair, tan )

  • Hello Marlaine!!!!!!!I like your style.

  • you retard. Moore is a freak and liar. Americans have a great health care when they work hard and strive to drive their life. Those that are lazy, uneducated will not do as well. That is life. Is you give these people everything, then more will not work to make a better life.

  • Yes, by your very intellectual and well written post I assume you're not one of those lazy and uneducated people who leech of off the backs of the hard working men and women of America. o.O

Well put sir, well put indeed.

  • Anyone here who cares to explain to me what "best healthcare in the world" implies, 'cause I'm kinda confused as to it's true meaning. So far I've seen way too many definitions of it and I have no idea what it really means. By my definition it would mean that if I got hit by a car the doctors wouldn't send me away because I lack the proper insurance for this type of accident or better yet, help me and then bill me into such a debt that it would take my grandchildren to pay it off.

  • I have a friend who was in several motorcycle accidents and never had medical insurance. The government picked up the bill in the form of Medicare. We already have a system for people that are disabled or below the poverty level (Medicare). People above the poverty level without adequate insurance have a bit more of a problem. I was in this position once, and still found a local government funded clinic, cost me $40 to be seen.

  • The other girl wasn´t prettyer. Maybe it`s look like that just because she has more sex in her life than this one. But with some help and a better healthcare system I think this one would improve a lot. So my vote is for this girl.

  • You could not pay me enough money to watch anything that slob puts into production. The american people know what Mikey is all about, and its not in the best intrest of ameria,or the american people.Even so,some people still feed the beast with hars earned money ,right into fattys pockets,so he can spread more lies about how horrible america is.I just cant figure out why moore just doesnt go to another country.Maybe its because hes making so much money off stupid people.

  • Or maybe, just maybe....he loves his country so much that when he see's that something isn't right he tries to shine some light on it. Then again, I don't live in the states, so your well-beaing shouldn't really be of any concern of mine. With that said, I hope you all get what you deserve (which is help when needed, without any strings attached). But if you want to keep on living as you do, by all means...keep it up.

  • I'll fill your cavities. Heh heh.

  • Watch Sicko by Moore. American health system is a complete joke

  • if you want free healthcare come to blighty

you can moan as much as you want as its your right

    you can pick your nose

you can pretty much do anything

  • Welcome to adulthood.Get a job,and join the rest of the sheep.Free healthcare is bogus, and the worst doctors will see to you.

  • And how do you know this, is this some kind of fact or are you just making s**t up as you go along?

  • they do not have to make, good looking to that you have the one panocha hairy, fat, oily.

  • nothing will change...do you honestly think your government will cut off the profits of your health care system? doubtful.

  • Health care is not a right.

  • ok strip already

  • $100 bill is not that much...heck I could pay for that. People view health care as being overly expensive because so many people in America, lavish themselves with things they don't need. Huge TV's, more expensive cars, electronics doodle things, these add up and can prevent you from paying for health insurance. Heck I'm 20, in college, and I could afford a decent health plan. It's all about proper money management, something too many Americans lack.

  • it's NOT all about proper money management... wtf? ridiculous...

  • Did you pay every month to go to public school? It was free!! Compulsory taxes!! Communism in the "free" USA! Imagine if millions of Americans couldn't afford elementary school and couldn't read. What would that cost society? Keep lapping up the propaganda to keep everything as lousy as it is, boneheads.
