I think the fans of books should be the ones to make up the movies. I'm pretty sure anyone who loves the books would be willing to sit through a two or three hour movie if it was actually good, and portrayed the book well.

I'm three quarters through this book. I love it so much, Jodi Picoult is amazing. Two things. HOW IS THAT DANIEL STONE?! No! And, should I bother watching this? I imagine it would be hard to adapt all the beautifully intricate detail written in the book to an hour long movie. If so, where can I watch it?

I believe I've seen the movie before. I am reading the book right now, and a few days ago, when I read about the bridge, I was thinking about how it reminded me of a lifetime movie I had seen a few years ago, and so I had to check to see if the book was turned into a movie, and I was right! I think this movie is actually pretty good. Not the best, but it's not the worst, either!

First off, she was raped she didn't want to but if you read pg 373

It was nont a coincidence, trixie thought, that no and know sounded the same. You were supposed to be able to say thje magic word, and that was enough to make your wishes-or lack of them crystal clear. But no one ever said yes to make sex consensual. you took hints from body lanuage, from the way two people came together. Why did you have to actually say the word no for it to be rape?

wow.....i finally got to see the movie on Lifetime and it was really disappointing. i understand since usually lifetime movies are well corny but come on, at least follow the book! i thought Britt Robertson did well considering how challenging her role is but Daniel and Jason....hmmm i pictured them way different. all i have to say is i LOVED the book but i guess i had high standards cuz the movie sucked
