  • 74 soccer fans killed each other? And here I thought Natural Selection was just a theory.

  • too many football hooligans in every country....

  • Sometimes I really wonder if our gov is worse or if the Middle Easter govs are worse...they opened the gates and sicked those crazed people on each other?! Over seventy people died and for WHAT?! Egypt! You know how y'all tell us to wake up and do something about our evil gov? TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE!

  • Egyptiens have a history of violence in soccer games , the whole country went mad after egypt lost to Algeria, and everybody was calling for war lol crazy people

I guess they should be banned from playing soccer again

  • this will never happen in any stadium in the U.S because American Fans are to fat to run into the field let along riot . shame on the Egyptian football federation .

  • on condition of anonymy??

  • Soccer needs to go it sucks and just causes trouble

  • @Suckmynut8822 Oh, stop crying because your sport is not half popular as football. This is just a fucked up episode in a country with huge political issues. Do you know what it need to stops? Wars, and as far as I remember USA have this "war politics" for the last 50 years.

  • We all have this in us. Some just seem so much more willing to give into this worst part of human nature. Usually it takes more than a stupid game to trigger this but not always I guess.

  • I thought soccer violence didn't actually require violence

  • this is why its called the middle-east cause its still middle-ages

  • @AlexBkatzmann Egypt is in Africa...

  • @OrganicKing yes but on the border its like the argument of wether russia is in asia or europe. youre right but it still can be argued that its part of middle-east in a cultural matter anyways like panama and Columbia

  • u idiot Americans, this was all planed by the Egyptian government it was not an ordinary soccer riots. fucking idiots

  • @TheEgyptianOne How about this, you keep writing these cliche 'Idiot Americans' comments, and I'll continue to pitty you and not give a fuck about what you have to say on fuckingYOUTUBE! :D

  • @kufygfykt well thats why Americans like u are ignorant cause they dont care about the facts but if thats how u like it then enjoy ur blissful ignorance at least i tried

  • @TheEgyptianOne You chose to call me a fucking idiot because I make a joke (that isn't even specifying THIS riot) but about the numerous soccer riots all over the world. And you then go on to try and inform me of the political reasoning behind the riot although I'm already well aware of the situation.

If you want to make a point and not be a complete dick, try not to assume that a person you're picking a fight with...over a joke...on youtube...is less knowledgeable you.

  • plus it doesn't make sense, The Egyptians people stood together for months while the world and especially america watched like pussies but still Egyptians stood together.... occupy wall street didn't last long cause deep down they knew they have no freedom, while Egyptians got killed, stabbed, stoned, rapped and still stood until they got rid of the dictator Mubarak which america loved him btw....and now Egyptians want to kill each other for a game...it doesn't make sense

  • @netwiz2 dude this is not about a game. tantawi the army leader who is leading egypt now was from the old regeam so he sent thugs to kill the people but he made it look like a hooligan fight but it wasn't it was all organized by tantawi. thats why the police didnt do shit and besides the exit doors wer all welded before the game even started. its really obvious that its all been planed by the Egyptian government and its been proven already i dont know why Americans dont get that?!

  • Anyone who think 74 died from the riot and because of the violence in the game...is an idiot...read before u think, Egypt just came out from a revolution, and there is a lot of controversy about the elections coming, people are dividing, also after the attacking started in the stadium, people tried to fled, and there was a gate that was chained, people tried to get out, because it was closed, people got crushed, plus a poll fell also on people..that's what happened.

  • @netwiz2 yea the government didn't just chine the exists but they fucking welded it. now who would have a fucking welder and how did all the weapons get by? it was all the government but people on here are so fucking stupid they think it was a ordinary soccer riots between to teams. no offense to Americans and i love america but Americans seam like they get stupider everyday lol

  • I think I know why soccer is the sport that causes the most sports-related riots in the world.

Because everyone in the stands is already pissed because they're watching a soccer game!

  • @kufygfykt ur a fucking idiot. this was not an ordinary soccer riot it was all planed by. the government because the revolution is still going on. mubarak left but they still need to get rid of the left overs such as tantawi, the army leader that led during the mubarak era

  • @TheEgyptianOne Well I just don't give a fuck. So I gues your choice to be a dick to people on youtube is a total success. :D

  • Comment removed

  • WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOUR PEE WEE BRAIN YOU MORON WITH THE MIC. THAT IS WHAT i WANT TO KNOW

  • yeah you idiot you would be blaming the police for intervening too. How can you ask the police confront these murderous morons killing each other. It is the soccer game that is to blame. We already knowl what can happen in a soccer game. So Please you knuckle head, stop blaming police. The only way police could have stopped was killing another hundred of these douche bag idiots. MORON

  • @newamanece ur an idot and dont know that this was a planed crime and was no ordinary soccer riot u fucking idiot this was all planed by the government. the police could have easily stopped this with tear gas, which is what they use hundreds on innocent protesters per day but u don't think like that cause ur not that smart

  • @TheEgyptianOne come on man, competition carries confrontation, sports should disappear from the face of the earth. The owners of the teams make the money. We need a new world without these type of events and get into more higher education for all.

  • @newamanece Now THAT is one of the smartest things I've heard in a long time!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheEgyptianOne we can still exercise without competition, and if we make sure everybody is educated and have no economic worries (for all): make sure we all have decent housing and nourishment and so on, we all be better off. By the way, Soccer is not a sport?? This even was a soccer game. The f*** super rich is f*** is planet up my friend.

  • @newamanece no what i mean this has nothing to do with soccer to begin with this was all planed by the government because the military from the past Mubarak regime is still a dictatorship and they still plan crimes like this. this was all planed by the Egyptian military that's why all the exit doors where welded and that's why the police let the thugs come in from the other doors into the stadium. i thought i made this clear he first time i commented here

  • @TheEgyptianOne point well taken.

  • Why would anyone get this angry over a soccer game?

  • This is Madness

    ...

    THIS IS FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTBAAALLLLLLLL*

    (soccer)*

  • Egypt is not USA. Stop comparing their views to ours faggot. This reminds me of the video TYT did about South Korea building resembling 9/11.

  • who are we to judge? Rick is not egyptian. American giving their point of view analyzing another countries culture.

  • I just want to know where the fans get all the rocks, sticks and sharp objects?!? Honestly. Did they bring them in or just find a random pile of rocks, sticks and sharp objects inside?

  • @Noraa666 What a retard

  • I have a suggestion, on serious stories. Such as this one. That they should drop the introduction!

I mean fair enough a story about Tim Tebow (i have literally no idea who he is!) pop the funny intro on.

But not on a story about 74 innocent people dying in football violence i thought had all gone from the sport!

  • So they don't have TEAR GAS in Egypt?

  • Comment removed

  • something seem kinda fish ..the exits were block how the hell

  • Maybe America should....liberate them. LOL. I joke...........

  • its football

  • Key words at the beginning of the report: "the numbers you should be worried about." thanks, TYT for being part of the media who promote unnecessary worry/fear.

  • @TheMrDonovan How is it unnecessary to be worried? 74 people are killed in stupid game where they kick a silly ball into a net. And you aren't worried about Egypt? wtf are you worried about...when your hot pocket is going be done?

  • I hate the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots. But I would never dream of committing an act of violence against one of their fans during a game.

  • @SDNate760 this is the fucking tenth time i writ this. this was not an ordinary sports riot man this was all planed by the government cause the revolution is not over yet and their are left overs from the old mubarak regiem come on man why are all Americans so simple minded

  • It is a SHAME, A SHAME!

  • This is another example of the shameful failure american foreign policy. The reason why scaf is still in power is because they are heavily supported by the us to stay there! same as mubarak was for 30 years! they are again playing their disgusting fear tactic so the people could beg the scaf for security. This will not happen, the people have woken up! no more mubarak, no more scaf, no more us interference in Egyptian affairs!!!

  • I was a big football fan but it became complete horseshit in around 2005 so I stopped watching altogether

  • Football is not only a sport, it's a way of life.

  • @happynightz

no retard, football is only a sport. its a bunch of guys trying to get a ball into a goal. nothing else. its only when fucking dolts like you make it into something more and end up wasting your entire life obsessing about it.

the bottom line is that it is a complete waste of time and these people died for NOTHING

  • @happynightz congrats, you're a waste of sperm

  • this isn't about race idiots, its about the game, soccer riots happen all the time....

  • sports killz, next time you have to choose between sportz and pizza, choose wisely ;)

  • "They call that a soccer riot? Ackh! Let's take them to school!"- Groundskeeper Willy.

In all seriousness, this is batshit insane. Why the fuck didn't the cops do anythng?! Why did such a shitshow occur over a) a game, and b) such an insignificant game? It's sports people, calm the hell down, chill out, and have another beer, or in Egypt, a mango juice I guess.

  • People died over a game where a ball is kicked around believe this.

  • after investigation reports have reports have came out saying" the armed thugs that entered the stadium (free of charge) were funded by business men loyal to Mubark's regime in an ongoing campaign revolving abut how life was much better b4 the revolution"

the chife of police was absent, the mayor was absent , even Secretary of internal affairs was absent . (all btw former mubark men who weren't removed/killed so to "preserve the image of the rebels") , now there is protests to remove all SCAF

  • I'm sorry TYT but you got the story. This had nothing to do with a game. The fans were following the team from city to city, protesting the rule of the military in egypt. The military hired people to attack the fans in the stands in port said to shut them up (kind of like how mubarak hired people to attack the protesters during the revolution). I am Egyptian and that is how the story is being reported here. This had nothing to do with fans attacking each other

  • @ritchloui Yeah you are right bro. It is such a dull and boring game, that's why it is overwhelmingly the number one sport in the world! Also I guess the pretend effort is why a higher percentage of "soccer" players play for there childhood club throughout there entire career compared to other sports. Even when there are better financial and trophy perspectives elsewhere (look up steven gerrard, francesco totti etc...). Way to over-generalize the most popular and passionate sport in the world.

  • I'm getting fucking sick of that damn NEVADA ad that pops up before EVERY VIDEO!!!! that song is driving me crazy!

  • Over a fucking game.

  • Professional soccer is a moronic, shallow and spiteful game. It is the most unsporting game ever invented. Basically it is hugely overpaid multi-millionaires pretty-boys pretending to make an effort, pretending to be hurt and overacting about everything. The crowds are frustrated dimwits who entertain themselves with idiotic tribalism because the garbage on the pitch is so effete and insultingly dull.

  • @ritchloui football is actually a fantastic sport, the players are paid highly because they make a great deal of money for their respective teams. Many of them have worked very hard to make it to where they are, often being recruited around the age of 10 and having to move to another country to pursue their dreams eg messi, ronaldo, fabregas. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get that good. Some fans are idiots but they are in the minority, riots aren't a regular occurrence in europe

  • @ritchloui you're clearly a moron,

  • In Lebanon they ban all fans to domestic matches to avoid this. I feel sick whenever I hear anything about this story.

  • well i think that we all agree on the fact that the side where the cops locked the gates is the side of the inosent

btw. why give something away when the subject is about a lot of people being killed

i know its to get more viewers but it's kinda harsh

though here in `HOLLAND` your vid reached its spot

  • TYT 4 lyfe.

  • Right Rick, cops totally should have done stuff.

  • the middle east is full inferior humans, why are we even surprised? that's one of the reason why the US had to prop up a dictator because those sand cunes can't run their country. Look at all the middle eastern countries.

  • @xtralimit >2012

    >still being a dumbass

  • @xtralimit Thank you, finally someone with a brain.

When I called the ragheads out on it I got called a racist.

  • @xtralimit get out troll

  • now these are true fans!

  • cool, let them all kill each other off, theyre all wasting oxygen

  • idiots, i can count to patato hooligans

  • This had nothing to do with football. Fans of the Al Ahly team of Cairo also known as ultras were at the fore of clashes with riot police during the street riots in Tahrir Square one year ago. They have strong political views and often chant anti military slogans at games. The gates leading onto the pitch were open by the police while the exits at the Al Ahly fans (ultras) end were locked. Al Masri fans (the home team) are even shocked by this because they won the game. This was pay back.

  • Nothing happened to humanity, it's been like this since the beginning. People beating up others because of different views is nothing new, it still is a part of our race.

  • Wow fucking pussy only tough in numbers I say we nuke em

  • that is a weird microphone he's holding

  • No wonder the cops didn't do shit. They PLANNED it!

  • Ben would disagree with you Rick. He would say soccer isn't a sport. That is probably why you were doing the report.

  • I disrespect Arabs

  • @dthol778 because your a racist motherfucker

  • @dthol778 I hate all Arabs myself.

  • Wow its sad to see such a tragedy over a game. its almost as unbeliveable as the millions of people who have killed each other over an invisible man in the sky..

  • i wonder if the super bowl will be anything like this? hahahaha

  • @Underpantsniper you really think most people at the supebowl could even run across a field?

  • @angel102ify A valid point....

  • Quite a big portion of Egypt still runs itself by muslim law, so this is not surprising...

  • @Muscari You're an Idiot. What has muslim law got to do with this in anyway?

  • @Muscari ignorant as fuck

  • fucking subscribe to these guys so i dont have to hear that intro again

  • So is tyt gunna give you a big boy mic at 20000 subs too?? That's looks like a chode

  • @AGenericGuy lol, get over yourself.

I hate Arabs for one reason: They're Arabs.

I could care less what religion they are.

  • Comment removed

  • It's a shame we can't blame the West for this, but instead the Egyptians want to blame their own government.

Of course, this problem lies with the Egyptian people. They deserve blame alone. Until they begin to reflect on their own problems that cause such, they are doomed to repeat it.

  • this has nothing to do with soccer people. Arabs are not that crazy. there were two riots at the same time: one in Cairo and one in Port Said. That isnt a coincidence. The riots were caused by remnants of Mubaraks secret police that are trying to destabilize egypt

  • @ArabMobster88 destabilize Egypt for what purpose?

  • @1000gohead for people to start to think: "this democracy thing is too dangerous lets go back to the dictatorship"

  • @ArabMobster88 This has the CIA and Mossad written all over it

  • Rick . . . cops can't stop a mob like that.

  • are you guys in culver city?

  • How horrible....is good sportsmanship and empathy dead?

The cops should be so ashamed....damn you all.

  • I don't want to live, on this planet any more.

  • @zooryanzoo123...You mean you don't want to live in Egypt.

  • and we thought Okland Raiders fans are hardcore

  • and people call americans dumb....at least we don't kill 74 people over a soccer game

  • @frmendez21 No, you have rallies to defend child molesters at a university.

  • @angel102ify small minority of stupid college football fans, no one died as i recall....

  • @frmendez21 No, But how many college age kids die on your streets every day for the most trivial reasons?

You try and come across as if americans are any different to every other country on this planet. There are idiots everywhere just like there are murdering scumbags in every country.

Also ask yourself how the police and the army allowed this to happen and most importantly, WHY.

  • @angel102ify I never said Americans are better than anybody else, I just think its ridiculous when people see a bad story about us and go on videos saying "haha look at those stupid Americans, their country is going to hell". The people in America are the same as in any other country

  • @angel102ify.....You British people should not even comment on soccer videos..The last time i checked they couldn't even beat the US

  • @sevens2 for a start its football, and there is no british football team(except at this years olympics) There are English, Welsh, Scottish and northern irish teams tho. And since you brought it up, Where do most european and south american players go to retire? Oh yeah, the US because they cant hack the european game anymore.

  • @sevens2 Oh, and by the way, what league do your best players play in? Oh yeah, the english premier league. If you can call landon donovan, clint dempsey and tim howard good.

  • islam, more than any other religion, is based on brutality and force. people hate when it is said, but its true. any religion has brought forth only trouble. but islam has created a people that dont know what peace means.

  • Comment removed

  • We Indians take sports seriously, but we don't kill people. You people perhaps are still in stone-age.Grow up Egypt.Try to act like a man.

  • @laghfish Have a little respect for yourself. i can't believe the ignorance of some people. it wasn't like it was a two way riot. al-ahly fans were not even fighting back, they were running for their lives.

  • soccer is the game of the devil

  • @chillinpotato5 only applies to people who call it "soccer" instead of its proper name, football.

  • This video totally missed the reason behind the violence. It wasn't simply football violence. There were social and political reasons behind the violence. Do some research. guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/feb/02/egypt-football-violence-hooliganism

  • @doubleplusunhappy Thanks. In reading the multiple Guardian reports, clearly there was a plan beforehand. However, this was really really stupid... "Insults were exchanged by both sets of supporters but what really inflamed things was the banner unfurled by Ahly fans saying there were no men in Port Said." Anyone who knows football knows such an action will almost ALWAYS incite large-scale violence. :|

  • I just subscribed today too...lol

  • Reminds me of Montreal after a hockey game

  • @Hiddenbeneath1 lolz Vancoouver and Montreal are panzies compare to Europe and Africa.

  • This is so ridiculous that there's really not much we can say about it.

  • stop watching fox guys

  • another reason to dislike soccer

  • Its fucking Soccer!!! No need for this!

  • @wrestlinfan8388

    ITS FOOTBALL U YANKIE.

  • Thank god a American that knows this is called Football not Soccer

  • sad....

  • What I don't get is why the people of Egypt are saying this is some kind of Government conspiracy. Im well aware of whats been going on over there, but this is clearly herd behavior/mob mentality at its worst.

  • 'Some' say it was revange by the police as the ultimates fans were involved in the revolution; but many offices were hurt as well.... eitherway awful awful thing to have happened...

  • here comes some racist arab comments

  • @PersoAryanism real nice, stereotype an entire race of people based on the absolute worst of them. smh...

  • @PersoAryanism who the fuck thumbed this shit up? The hell is wrong with you people.

  • @PersoAryanism Do NOT turn this video into these sorts of ignorant comments. Be thoughtful and thorough with your words. Don't post negative comments that generalize an entire race. Thank you.

    -Rick

  • @tytsports good story, good reporting

  • @whome2473 Thank you.

    Rick

  • @tytsports Ricky, I know you want to interact with the viewers, but please please please don't feed the trolls. Have conversations with the people who are civil and respectful and ignore the ones who aren't. Don't engage them man, it just riles them up and wastes your time and energy. Keep on being awesome man.

  • @PersoAryanism So much hate, so little penis.

  • @PersoAryanism You know Mexicans have riots over soccer too killing people, for some reason it seems to be more related to the sport that gets fans angry than a certain race, I dont understand it

  • The cops stood by because they had orders to, ironically to protect civilians from the cops and their recent abuses.

  • In some countries football/soccer is like religion. You disrespect my team, you have to pay for this, sometimes with your life. I know its crazy.

  • @MadEastern That's complete bullshit. If you're serious about this comment, you should a) go fuck yourself b)rethink you entire life and c)never reproduce.

Religion isn't worth killing for, let alone a stupid sports game.

  • @MadEastern

With all due respect, I believe this was less about football and more about civil strife, coupled with the military's attempt to maintain its control on Egyptian power.
