@kungenchrille If your server was set up before 1.2 was released, and the map was generated before 1.2 was released, then you won't get jungles.

You need to generate a 1.2 map to get Jungles.

I actually liked swamps before they became really common and ugly. When they spawned in the normal colours they were quite picturesque, but that stupid dark grass and different coloured water that abruptly changes is just dumb. Actual swamps should have been a new material, not a modification of water, IMO.

he just have placed new trees in a normal biome...

in the final realease there should be new plants, new terrain in this biome. and i think the trees are too fat. 4x4 blocks? and the biome should be much bigger ^^ a jungle is much bigger too, isnt it? but.. for one week it inst bad i think ^^

@qwertyyuiope Notch gave use mushroom biomes. A tiny Island in the middle of a ocean no one asked for and you can't even find one without cheating. Jeb gives us a jungle and beaches back.

Jeb should make new sounds, i mean ambiance sounds (jungle = monky, night = frogs, etc) and make that when you walk on ice, you have 4/10 to break trough the ice and fall in water :D
