I never thought about making butter beer before. However, I have had it at Universal and must say that the frozen butter beer is SO much better than the regular one.

@ScottKinmartinTV ahh yum the frozen one. I like that a lot too, but it's not "canon" so it's less Harry Pottery to me, so if I have the choice I stay true to the books and get the regular kind haha :)

oh my god... ok so I had some left over syrupy stuff, and i saved it in the fridge, but today was international coffee day (I live in seattle) and I wanted to make some coffee so I made some espresso shots and heated some milk, heated up the butterbeer syrup and mixed it in, IT WAS INCREDIBLE. I will make it again and post it as a reply if you wanna make it. :D

@ks4isu I bet you can! The flavor of the rum is important, so make sure you add enough to taste it. If you want to experiment and figure out an alcoholic recipe please share!

@FluffyKittenMEOW In the books it's warm! I think it has to do with how we're not used to warm soda. I have made other versions where you microwave butterscotch syrum with root beer and I liked it warm but my family thought it was weird. Maybe you should try and let me know which you like better!

I've made so many different types of butterbeer but your by far seems the most authentic. I'm definitely going to try it next time I get cream soda! The butter seems a bit excessive. ...xD

@JustJAINE I've tried a lot of recipes over the years and this is one of the best and pretty darn close to the park. The butter does seem like a lot but what we didn't show is what the mixture looks like after it cools, what's left over. It pretty much becomes a soft caramel, it looks like candy more than butter I promise haha!
