apophis is the scary one. it will come very close to earth, and if it passes through a "keyhole" it will be right next to earth in orbit around the sun, and collide. That is why scientists are planning to deflect apophis away from the keyhole, because if they don't they would have to deflect the asteroid much farther.

this asteroid is just an interesting thing, because it isn't a threat.

I don't think you can see magnitude 10 objects with the naked eye. Could have been a planet, or even a satellite. Manmade objects are often visible at dawn and dusk because sunlight reflects off of them.
