@dw9071 they'v cornered the market I guess. Trick and a few others make better pedals. Axis was one of the first to use the longboard/solid drive shaft and lighter weight materials. Gene Hoglan is beast and he uses some old pedals from the early 80's. I've owned a set of longboards and they fell apart on me all the time and had to re-tighten the screws after a few songs. My iron cobra is heavy and a bit sluggish but it's reliable and does the job. I don't use triggers so it's fine for me.

It was an interesting and certainly promising debut, but it hinged too much on -core aspects such as breakdowns, and didn't focus enough on tone or songwriting. Planetary Duality has a haunting vibe throughout, it flows well, and is more unique. Oh well. To each his own I suppose!
