Hey it's Wil Malski here. I decided after having this video up for over 5 years I should probably comment and finally dispel all of the guessing of the seriousness of this video. It's was not created to piss off homeschoolers or portray a false reality of them. It's a "Mocumentary" that jabs fun at all of the preconceived notions people have about homeschoolers. It's not any easier to accurately stereotype a homeschooler than a public schooler. Just watch the video and laugh. That's the point.
I was homeschooled for one semester, and it was a joke. I think I did three hours a day, and the rest of my day was spent doing meaningless, "sugary" activities like crafts and skits. When I finally did go back to school, my schedule for the next four years was ruined because so much of the stuff I did while homeschooling wasn't legitimate educational credit. Crafts and classical music is cute and all, but I learned nothing serious that would actually help me learn to function under a job.

Wow. Talk about a depressing video. In case any of you are wondering, homeschoolers generally don't have a lil ceremony at their house. I will be joining a homeschool graduation ceremony at a church (which is my private school). Dang this made a homeschooler's life seem ReALLY uninteresting. xD
This is hysterical!!! I feel really sorry for people who don't get that it is totally a JOKE! Homeschooling is different but it is very legitimate and can produce wonderful, independent people who need not feel the pressure to follow the crowd. You have to be tough to swim against the flow in this culture.

And unfortunately I must agree. And this video proves it. However, the student graduating seemed kinda normal though. Although, his friend...the one with the clip on tie well...it speaks for himself.

I got two kids, the oldest is 21 months. I'm considering homeschooling them as the public system makes learning slow, I could have entered college 2 years earlier and actually learned something had I not been in school.
A homeschool parody with only two kids? Come now. Not only do homeschool families have a minimum of 5 kids, but their names all start with the same letter.
Okay, so it pretty much captured the ultra-stereotypical homeschool life pretty well. I like the getting done with school in an hour and half part especially.
