trying to think of some clever thing to say as to why i love Zeppelin. and i can'r think of anything....they're music makes me feel a way i can't put into words...pure magic.
One of the very special songs from Zep...so expressive...softly but intense...one of those songs where you know you should shut up and listen...just listen !
Soo...like around Valintine's Day, i feel in love with one of my friends....I told her how i felt, but she told me she didn't feel the same way. But today, me and her were walking, and she told me how she really felt....
In a garden of sounds of silence...musical notes surround my ear and darling they speak highly of you.....I write poetry to my girl ...listening to this..and for this I thank you.....Zepp...4 ever..
It is only once in a lifetime musicians of this caliber happen to gather in the same band. This group was 100 years ahead of their time, and such enigmatic excellence may never be reached again.
They played with heart that struck a cord with humanity, even those who were not into the "Hippie" scene could appreciate the awesome power of Led Zeppelin.
In a thousand years, if Humankind survives, they will look back on the legacy of Led Zeppelin With awe and wonder.
When i play this on my guitar i think man, i feel so cool right now, then i think.....man i wondered how cool they must have felt writing this stuff.....i mean playing someones amazing music is fun, but man.....it must have been even more amazing for them to play this and say, we wrote this. awesome man.
@AmazingJourneyTheWho You are so right on , most people don't realize that having to write this stuff is amazing , Being a musician I know , and then look at the cataloge of songs , Amazing is an understatement to say the least , Page used cords and lines that modern players wouldn't have a clue
Been to 2 of their concerts The Forum in LA, & in Phoenix,AZ 77.They played so loud that you could not hear a person scream next to you. Brings back the time when Rock bands really put their all into their music.
no.... fucking page was way better. you cant say shit like that hendrix fucking rocked shit hardcore but jimmy page and zeppelin fucking take the cake. literally put all hendrix's records next to zeppelins then listen to all of them and make a legitimate comparison. hendrix was great but honestly zep was around for like 10 yrs until bonzo died and hendrix was alive for like 3 when he was popular
@tibby1487 you just said it . if jimi would've been alive for at least 10 more years . who knows . but i like to think that both page and hendrix are the best .
Where does this come from? The Zep live DVD doesn't include this and it looks to be pro-shot. The Earls Court performances are the pinnacle of live Zeppelin.
@kenjames64 The entire 5 date run at Earls Court was filmed professionally, only a small selection of that was included on the dvd. The gig from the 25th was even better than this one (Robert's voice doesn't sound so shot)
Hey does anyone know if this whole concert has ever been released for an album....I own how the west was one and the BBC live sessions, but I would love this one since those don't have songs like the rain song
Please, stop comparations. I like so much SRV and Hendrix, and most of us too. Everyone in his one way. And this awesome man, James Patrick Page doesn't burns his guitar, but is fingers in this song burn mi hearth. Every of them deserve themself worth. They are all great guitarists. But, now we are listen to The Rain Song. So, by the way, I feel that I love this song as far I love a person.
justin bieber will disappear in 6 months and be totally forgotten. fuck that kid with the comb-over with absolutely no talent. Now this song is the most beautifuly written song i have heard so far. the tuning is outrageous! It's like c sharp 7 or something. Dont know what it is exactly but I know how to tune my guitar that way and play it perfect. Awesome campfire song
justin bieber made 70 accounts trying to dislike this video but after three attempts youtube said were sorry you cant dislike led zeppelin more than 3 times in total
@no1wudno your such a retard why do people post stupid comments like this people can listen to whatever music they want. With that being said thought, Zeppelin do rule!
the songs dont remain the same nowadays my top 3 wish list to see zepplin, pink floyd, queen, lennon and mccartney/wings, in the 70's but i was born in 77 ohhh and hendrix if he had a concert in 1970 before passing away. the good ones die to early
From the thrashings that is Comminication Breakdown to the beauty that is The Rain Song then back to an epic such as Achilles Last Stand. Zeppelin is simply the best.
Don't have a single Hendrix album in my collection but do have every Zeppelin with Page and every Pink Floyd album with David Gilmour who I think is one of the best,,,, But its all darn good music
Great snapshot from a by-gone era!. I cannot say any 1 guitar player is the greatest, there are just too many variables, but Mr. Page has always been a great inspiration to me and several other guitar players,

i went to this concert as a16 year old boy....now 51 years old but still remember that night as* it doesn't get any better than this * amazing to think that you can re-live your own history 35 years later!! still love zep to this day . once was lucky enough to meet page...shook his hand in the hope that it would make me a better guitarist....it didn't but i still like to have a go!! i'm a fan in my heart forever.
@davidbowles100 that should have been me...im almost 18 now and i wont ever get to see them live....i wont get to see john bonham =(....you got to shake a gods hand...you make me very very jealous to have met zeppelin...how i wish i was you and lived back in the days where music WAS music...
Bought my first led zepplin record when I was 14 back in 1973. Grew up with Zepplin and consider myself lucky....saw Song Remains the Same when it came out in the theater...still as good as it was!
The entire band were unbelievably talented musicians, skilled at playing their instruments, creative when composing and masters of image. Led Zeppelin will rock forever!
