Julia used to live here in the DC area with her band Mike on keyboards and the infamous Stan Sargeant on bass. Stan went on to play with stars from Johnny Guitar Watson, Barry Manilow, Kako Matsui, you name it, even NBC's Leno for about 5 years. But where's Julia? Anyone know????? Please let me know...

When this came out, early 1984 there were some real funky songs in the UK chart at the same time with such great production & instrumentation particularly if you like your big jazzy horn sections! There was this classic,'A Night In New York' - Elbow Bones & the Rackateers, 'Spice of Life'- the Manhattan Transfer, More More More - Carmel & 'Straight Ahead' - Kool & the Gang for example.1 of the best periods in pop music in my opinion!Such great musicanship missing from much of todays chart music!
